I paid $71.25 to send my championship belt to Highspots to get signed by *************************************** aka *************************** for a signing advertised for November 5th and 6th, 2023. I received an email from Highspots saying they received my item to be signed on October 31st, 2023. On November 10th, 2023, I received an email saying I was being refunded the $162.95 for the money I paid to have the belt signed. When I asked if this meant my item had been signed, someone named **** responded: Yes, unfortunately there were a few items that did not get signed. This refund doesnt account for the costly shipping to send my valuable there. When I inquired about a refund for my initial shipping costs, they completely ignored it. It was costly for me to send this item to Highspots for them to simply not follow through without any explanation. They only refunded me $150. Not even the full amount. Refund me the ***** cost. You owe me $71.25 + $12.95, an explanation and an apology. What terrible customer service.Business response

We have already been in contact with ******* via email. We have already refunded the $150 for the autograph and the $12.95 return shipping charge. We also have issued a gift card for $25 to help offset his original shipping as there is no way to refund that to him.

I am rejecting this response because:My response to Highspots is rejecting their response. They cost me $71.25 to send them an items they didnt deliver their end on. Im now $71.25 out. A $25 gift card doesnt help that. When you advertise a product, dont deliver and only send me a gift card worth a quarter of what Im out, the last thing I want is to do business with this company again. I want my money back. $71.25.

Customer is claiming we should pay him for expedited shipping that he choose to send his item to us with. We can definitely ship items much less than what he choose to pay for. Our gift card covers the correct shipping costs. Thanks!Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
You offered and promoted a signing that didnt happen. It cost me money to send a valuable item to you safely. I am out $71.25 because of you and I NEVER will give you business again. Your $25 gift card is meaningless and not a justifiable solution. You advertised a signing, didnt follow through, didnt notify me that my item want signed until i inquired about your partial refund. This is your wrong. You should be making it right. Refund the $71.25.Business response

We're sorry that you are not happy but we have refunded you the amount of the signing and the return shipping. We then gave your a $25 gift card to cover your inbound shipping (which we explicitly state we do not cover).
You also did not follow our instructions and combined the return shipping costs of both items which cost us much more than you paid for the return shipping.
You choose to send your items via Express Mail which wasn't required which is why your mail in cost was so high. That was your choice. It could have been sent much cheaper which is why we provided you with the $25 gift card as a courtesy.
Thank you!Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:You clearly are reflecting on the fact that you advertised this signing and did NOT deliver. You cost me money. You need to to own up to your bad business practices and refund me. NOWHERE in your explanations do you list recommendations for shipping. Nor would I ship you a rare item without any sort of insurance.
From your own website:
As mail in items are handled before, during and after their signing we cannot guarantee the condition they are returned in. As such you agree to send in mail ins at your OWN RISK and therefore Highspots is not responsible for any & all damage that can occur to your item before, during and after the signing you send your item in for. We will not offer any refunds for this issue.
Due to the amount of orders received and limited number of staff we DO NOT GUARANTEE when your order will ship out UNLESS you request and pay for EXPEDITED SHIPPING (this only applies to non Sign It Live, Virtual Gimmick Table or other live show orders).
