Last night, an incident transpired at Sports Bar One | Lounge that has prompted me to take formal action. I firmly believe that I was subjected to predatory booting practices, and I am taking the necessary steps to address this issue legally.To provide context, I have attached pertinent sections from the municipal code for *********, specifically Sec. ***** and Sec. *****, which outline regulations pertaining to booting services and fees. It is my understanding that, as a patron, I should have been provided with a detailed receipt explaining the $250 charge. The sign in the front says $125 boot fee but I was charged $250. Regrettably, this was not the case.Furthermore, I assert my right, as outlined in the code, to request and verify the identification of the individual responsible for this action. Unfortunately, the individual I spoke with did not provide their full name, and I subsequently discovered their identity through alternative means.While I hold no ill will towards the individual carrying out their duty, my primary concern lies in the legality of the process and the interactions with the purported club owner/Manager **************************I am seeking clarification on the purpose of the $250 charge and wish to receive an official receipt acknowledging this transaction. Visiting from out of town. Sat fior 30 mi utes no service. ********* then served patrons who arrived 10 minutes after me. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Highly do not recommend. Horrific experience
