I was not aware that my credit card was being charged **** each month for Palm Beach Tan. When I went in to cancel and inquire about the charges (over $135), I was told that I could request a refund. I was denied a refund from the corporate office after speaking to a person named ********* I was told there was no additional management to speak to about this issue- period- at all- an admin assistant is making these customer service decisions- even though their website claims they aim for 100% satisfaction. I then asked for a copy of my signature as I was not aware that I signed anything during a cancellation in 2020 stating to charge my account and keep this "plan" open. When I was emailed a copy of the agreement, these are not my initials or signature. I emailed in stating two issues- the representative I spoke to was using another person's email (fraudulent) and these initials were not mine and I could prove so. The company refuses to acknowledge this and I only received an email from ******** again from an email account for a "********" (who is on maternity leave) that they still refuse and are unable to complete a refund. I have since reported them for fraud. I would consider as a consumer to never allow this company to have your credit card on file.Business response

This customer has signed electronic documents and we have provided her copy to her already. She signed to pause her membership on our stay and save program which allows the customer to maintain their premier reward status and prevents them from having to pay a start up in the future. Charity does have credit in our stores of $135.00. $50.00 of that was money I personally put in there for her to use toward a facial product back in June of 2020. That was not money out of her pocket. The remainder is an in-store credit she can use at any time over the next 11 months. Now that she has cancelled her membership, those in store credit expire 365 from that date.
