LYING TO MAKE A DEAL I purchased a 2014 **** Focus on 3/25/25. I was advised that the vehicle had passed inspection and received a fresh oil change. The next day, I realized that three lights were out (signal/brake). Additionally, I took the car to *********, where I was shown that my oil was black. Their records indicated that the last oil change in their system was on 09/24.On 3/26/25, I spoke with the female store manager and asked, How does a car pass inspection with three lights out? Her response: It was possibly overlooked. She did agree to fix the issue. The next day, 3/27/25, I went back and spoke with ****, who identified himself as a manager. I provided my receipt and explained that I had been told my oil change was fresh, but ****************** suggested otherwise. I asked for supporting documents to verify the inspection and oil change date. He refused to provide any paperwork, stating that they dont have it.I asked, How do you verify the information provided to customers if there is no paperwork? His response: IDK, we use a third party.I then asked if I would be reimbursed for the oil change, but he declined. I requested to speak with a manager above him, and he responded, I dont have one. When I asked for a corporate number, he said, We dont have corporate.I informed him that I would be filing a complaint with the BBB, to which he replied, ****** change isnt really a big deal. To who?! Oil changes play a crucial role in the life expectancy of a vehicle!Since then, Ive noticed that the car jerks when accelerating, and Im not sure what to do next.Business Response

Thank you for your message. Please note that the vehicle was sold as-is, which was clearly communicated at the time of purchase. We want to emphasize that we operate with honesty and integrity, and we do not mislead our customers to make a sale.
Regarding the oil change, while it may not appear on the Carfax report, we did perform the service in-house prior to the sale. In-house maintenance is not always reported to ****** unless completed at a reporting facility, but we assure you it was done as part of our standard pre-sale inspection process.
If you have any other concerns, we're happy to help clarify.Initial Complaint

Date: October 18, 2024 Make and model: 2011 ***** Cruze Issue: I was sold a lemon (bad car) and it's experiencing non repairable mechanical problems that the dealership is not helping me with. The car is financed so even if the car breaks down I will still have to pay this loan which I feel is unfair. They blatantly admitted to being sued multiple times prior and being aware that their cars are defective. What they are doing is dangerous and unethical and I believe they should be investigated if not shut down. I would like to either have my loan paid off or receive a new vehicle because as I said, this is unethical and should be illegal.Business Response

Mrs ********** I'm sorry that your vehicle is giving you issues. I want to assure you that we are not doing anything shady nor illegal. Can you please reach out to us with more detailed information about your Cruze? Did you purchase a warranty?Initial Complaint

Used car purchase at AutoRevolution Club LLC in *********, ** on 02/08/2025. 2013 ****** Pathfinder with no accidents listed and under 150k miles, that through ******* and Carfax showed no accidents, recalls, or other major issues. We test drove the vehicle with the salesman about a mile around the block. The *** drove fine with no vibration, noises, hesitations, and everything seemed fine. With the report of no accidents, the good test drive, and no visible signs of damage, we decided to purchase the vehicle with cash, "As Is." While driving the vehicle the next day, the check engine light came on, so we took the vehicle to our mechanic. The mechanic called and stated the the repairs of the vehicle would cost more than the vehicle is worth and there is no way that the vehicle in its current condition could pass NC inspection. Also, the mechanic said the one of the tires is so worn that it is a blow out risk. It is lucky that we made it home in the car from the sales lot. We reviewed paperwork that was left in the vehicle and found an inspection receipt from 1/27/25. There is no way that the damaged head gasket and all the damaged oxygen sensors could pass inspection 1/27/25 and then suddenly be in disrepair by our 2/8/25 purchase date. Also, all the brakes need to be repaired. Then, we found a repair receipt from Caliber Collision that details over $6k of damage that was repaired from an obvious accident. Obviously, the check engine must been falsely reset prior to my test drive and purchase. Also, somehow the online report for this vehicle didn't list the obvious accident. This is totally fraudulent, but unfortunately we bought it "As is." I hope this never happens for another buyer. We lost over $8k on a vehicle that is worthless. We repaired the rear tires, so that we can drive the vehicle to a salvage yard when we receive the title. This company should be shutdown.Business Response

Hey **** I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with the pathfinder, Can you please tell us what codes your car is giving? We are here to help but need more information in order to do so.Customer Answer
Date: 03/07/2025
I am rejecting this response because:
The vehicle has a blown head gasket, all three oxygen sensors need to be replaced. The brakes need to be replaced. The struts and shocks need to be replaced. The head gasket alone is a $5000 repair, which is more than 70% of the purchase price.Initial Complaint

February 23 2024 I financed a 2011 Jeep Compass. I test drove the car not even a block down the street from Auto Revolution. With that being said you couldn't tell anything was wrong with the vehicle. I asked was anything wrong with it,of course they told me no. I put 2500 down on this car. A couple days later I noticed a knocking noise that I thought was my baby stroller in the back. When I noticed my baby stroller was not moving. I was hoping it wasn't my car doing that! But unfortunately it was. I called Auto Revolution to let them know the issue and they told me the manager **** would get back to me. However the noise had gotten worse so I couldn't wait for a call back. I went to Auto Revolution to talk face to face because I brought this car for me and my baby to ensure we had a good vehicle to get us where we need and want to go. So I'm very upset! Before I went to Auto Revolution to stopped by a Mechanic shop on south blvd and was told my car have very bad rust at the bottom of vehicle from water damage. I basically was sold a lemon. I took my hard earned money to Auto Revolution and got ripped off. **** the manager at Auto Revolution was rude and tried to tell me it's sold as is and the car wasn't water damage it came from up north where it snow.... ********* flash when the snow melt it turns into water. This car is very loud and embarrassing. The brakes are bad and scrubbing. I haven't had the car long at all. Now I have to shop for another one! This is not fair for car lots to take our money like this and we can't do anything about itBusiness Response

Good Afternoon, We did in fact take this car back from the customer and returned her money in full and made another deal on a new vehicle. She has since removed her negative ****** review and changed to a 5 star. I would say this customer has been satisfied and we went above and lost money in the process to help her.Initial Complaint

I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience but the vehicle was sold as is and the damage to the vehicle was cosmetic and did not effect the performance of the vehicle. You are allowed to fully inspect the vehicle before purchase and signed documentation that the vehicle is purchased as is.Initial Complaint

We do not recommend purchasing vehicles from this dealership! They are not selling quality vehicles. We purchased two vehicles from them on 10-12-23 and barely a week later and both cars are having issues. I spoke to the manager **** and he wasnt the nice guy we met the day we made our purchase. He was very rude and kept over talking me on the phone. He refused to even discuss the issue he just kept saying the vehicles were sold as is. But if you are confident youre selling good cars then why wouldnt you at least offer to have your mechanic look at it? Its only been a week and its not one but BOTH cars having issues. He said you test drove the cars and they were fine but the cars have very little gas in them so you only get to test drive them around the block which isnt really enough to truly test the car. We werent asking him to take the cars back but just to help us figure out whats wrong. And we arent the first customers to purchase from them and have the car only last a week. Beware if you choose to purchase from them they are good at making you feel like they are really trying to help you get in a car. We want to hopefully prevent others from getting trapped in to a vehicle that isnt good quality.Business Response

Good Afternoon, I'm sorry to hear about your experience but you did in fact refuse any warranty option and purchased the cars as is. We did in fact point you in the right direction to help you with what sounded like very minor issues. This is a used car dealership and we do sell very quality cars that do last and have value.Customer Answer
Date: 08/09/2024
I am rejecting this response because: The manager did show us a brochure about warrantys but did not take the time to explain how the warranty process worked and when we called back about the issues were given no direction on what to do just just VERY rudely told that nothing could or would be done because everything was as is. I have had multiple people reach out to me after my review of this business who have had a very similar experience. These people are selling cars that are not good quality and they are only helpful until the sale is final. Once theres an issue they are very rude and refuse to help at all. We are now stuck paying for cars one of which we cant even use and its ridiculous.Initial Complaint

If I could give zero cars then I would! I bought a car from this dealer in the amount of $3,300 on Friday, March 24th. On Saturday, March 25th the check engine light came on and I discovered that there were two issues they had not made me aware of which was the **** system leaking and needing repairs as well as the *********** Valve needing to be replaced as well. It was sold to me with bad brakes also. Yesterday, March 26th, on my way to work the engine shut off at a light in traffic and I had to have the car towed. Today, I spoke to the manager seeking a resolution to resolve the issues they did not make me aware of beforehand and I was told over the phone that there was no resolution and I could seek to have the car repaired elsewhere if I chose to keep it. This dealer I am sure was aware of the issues upon selling the car to me and so it was sold in bad faith. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS AND HARD EARNED MONEY TO AUTOREVOLUTION.Business Response

***** I'm sorry to hear about this situation you were having. We do our best to buy quality cars but unfortunately this one gave you problems. We passed inspection on the vehicle and it drove great on the test drive, but after your purchased the engine blew and you demanded a full refund. We reached out and tried to swap you into another car for a small difference but the only option good for you was to return a car with a blown engine for a full refund. Nowhere near the condition it left in. We simply could not fulfil this and tried to give you the best option which was very reasonableInitial Complaint

I purchased a car on 2/3/23. I realized it was an "as is" sale. During the test drive there were no issues present. No dash lights, etc. Three weeks later the car began having problems when trying to excel. The check engine light came on. I was able to drive it to Auto Zone to have a diagnostic check run. It determined the car needs a catalytic converter. This is very expensive to be hit with THREE weeks after paying for the car. I hesitated but returned to Auto Revolution to see what if anything they would do to rectify the situation given the time frame. The sales manager was defiant, insulting, and lives up to the reputation earned by used car salesmen. He mocked me saying that the car was fine because I drove it to the dealership. He made fun of me feeling unsafe as a woman driving a car that could break down at any minute. He refused to do anything to help the situation and said he "sleeps well at night" because people like me should know we are buying a used car and should expect problems. They are HIGHLY unprofessional shysters who should be shut down. I wouldn't send anyone to this terrible spot.Business Response

************* I'm sorry to hear about your engine light coming on 3 weeks after sale but I can inform you that this was not intentional and that a catalytic converter is rather common maintenance in vehicles with higher mileage. the average replacement of a catalytic converter is ******* dollars. We did offer to buy you the part but you demanded a full repair on what you knew was an as is sale. We are not a terrible spot, we are actually one of the best car dealers in the surrounding area and tried our best to serve youInitial Complaint

I have an issue with a used car I purchased from Auto Revolution on **********. ******************************************. I purchased the car for my daughter, it was a used older model ****** Rogue on 8/2 with a credit card for $3200. We bought the car without a mechanic looking at it and took the company's word that the car was in a good working condition/state. The car has a salvage title and was wrecked from behind, thus the back hatch doesn't open, that was the only issue that was presented at the time of the purchase of the car. The gentlemen that were involved assured me that the car ran great, and if I had issues, bring it back. The car started having issues about 2 weeks after the purchase where a slew of lights on the controls started blinking like a Christmas tree and the car has issues with the transmission, it has started to make whining noises, the car does not maintain power and the mechanic at 360Auto in Indian Trail told her that the car has MAJOR issues and he would be concerned if she were his daughter driving the car. He also stated he was willing to sign an affidavit or attest to the issues he found with the car. Well, my daughter took the car to them the day the mechanic checked the car out, and they told her that the trusted mechanic is BS'ing her to charge her for fixing the issues, and he was full of it. Basically blowing her off and saying F you. My daughter has a 1 year old child that she HAS to have transportation for, and its a struggle for everyone right now, and $3200 is a LOT of money for me to spend for a car that doesn't work LESS than a month later! They will not do anything, they refuse to make good on their word and reputation at all. The boys that work at the company/dealership (if I could even call it a dealership??? just a lot of older cars that clearly have issues that they're trying to pass off as "good cars." I tried to have my credit card company reverse the charges and open a dispute. The company responded to their dispute and the ticket was closed shortly thereafter with no resolution still. My daughter can't drive the car. It sits in a driveway and she still has no viable transportation, so the family has to help her with transportation. PLEASE PLEASE HELP me/us get satisfaction and come to a resolution with this used car lot. Please. My daughter and her baby desperately need transportation, and I'm running out of resources, she can't afford this on her own and is relying on me to help with big issue items such as this. I can provide any documentation regarding the sale if requested.Business Response

Mrs. ****** I'm sorry you had issues with the vehicle but the purchase was as is. We were willing to help but your daughter was very rude and only demanded a full refund. After giving her advice and her leaving you then reversed the credit card charges. When we called to tell you we would in fact take the car back you said she was in ******* with the car and not sure when she would return. After a week of no contact we appealed her claim and won. Only after that did heard back from you guys. We tried and I understand that not all 3200 dollar cars are going to be optimal but we truly did try our best for the circumstances at a hand. We were always ethical and in response were treated very poorlyInitial Complaint
