December of 2023 I purchased a vehicle from journeys auto sales on Albemarle rd I put down about 1300 down they assured me that the vehicle was well maintained I did not have to worry about anything and they have taken care of and had no issues the very next day problems arise there so many issues that went on after I had the vehicle I put about ***** or more dollars into the car and only had it for 5 months with the car sitting for months because it was unsafe to drive I reached out to the dealer and discussed the issues with the car and he was not willing to compensate me for the entire total he only will do what HE thought the price shall be so he also said I wish I had not even sold me the vehicle unfortunately I had to put in labor after labor after labor at this point Im so fed up with this piece of c*** car i offered to give the car back and he give me my money back he said no and still this car needs a lot of work to me they let the car sit for years until he saw someone interested in the vehicle and started to do the minimum work needed.

We always regret when someone is dissatisfied yetI have done all on this account and for these folks that  I reasonably can.

The attached documents are federal and local stating that all vehicles are sold as is and that all saies are final. The purchasers signed accepting this as the purchase agreement on 12/4/23. Attached also is a copy of the *************** inspection print out showing the unit passed inspection on all points.

I discussed with ****************, in front of the salesperson, after his demonstration drive and prior to his buying the vehicle that it was in the lower price range of what we sell and asked him if he was mechanical and able to maintain an older (2000) vehicle. He assured me that not only was he but he had an excellent mechanic..At this point we contracted to finance a balance for 38 weeks.

Shortly after purchase they began to complain of suspension repairs. I defered an intiital $310 payment as a matter of goodwill and explained that Journey Auto Sales was in no way liable yet we sought to maintain a positive relationship.

On 4/2/2024 they came to my offices again complaining of repairs. I told them, Journey Auto Sales. though not liable  would  diiscuss release of title once the balance had reached $250.again as a matter of goodwill.  I also reiterated  that at no point would we issue funds and reminded them that they had purchased "as is".

On the 8th day of May, 2024, *************** requested a refund of monies he had spent on parts or a total refund. I refused as a matter of contract and principle.

in summary, this client has had possession and used the vehicle in excess of 5 mos. They have driven it to our location multiple times.and the unit was running fine.  *************** has shared that " on the way to work he noticed a noise, or this weekend on the interstate, etc."   We have done all we contractually could to assist.

I am rejecting this response because:
I totally disagree with ******* response. When I initially went to journey auto sales to look at vehicles I express to the salesman what I was looking for and why.  I NEVER stated that I was mechanical.  What I stated was I know a little bit about cars.  Nor did I state I have a excellent mechanic.  His salesman to me that the car has had a lot of work done on it.  He express to me that they brought that car and fixed it up for a previous worker of there's (who is no longer employeed with them) and that it is a good car.  The day I drove the car off the lot noticed problems.  I have not and do not drive the car excessively! And I have not driven it up there several times I drove it up there one time that's ALL.  I told ***** that his salesman to me that they had fixed that car up for a previous employee of there's and that I was also informed by his salesman that it was a good car.  ***** replied " the car had been sitting for some time and that is not the car they fixed up".  He also said " the car they fixed for the previous employee was the same type of car and same color car they sold me, but not the one they sold me".   I told ***** that means his salesman LIED to me.  ******* response was "well it's not necessarily a lie because it was a mistake and he didn't me to lie".  He stated because it wasn't a intentional Lie means that he didn't lie.  That doesn't make sense to me because that was a horrible mistake on the company as a whole.  ***** expressed that he wish he wouldn't have never sold the car.  That's another horrible mistake.  That doesn't sound right at all coming from a man that always like to but God in the conversation.  They sold me a lemon and they know it.  There's no way a salesperson should make a mistake of that nature unless they were merely trying to scam or take someone's money.

I interacted with you on at least three occasions as I recall when the car was here. Once when you originally complained. The second time you were making a payment. The 3rd time  I looked at your concern and referred you to a mechanic we use down the street.

There was an 02 LeSabre and a 2000 LeSabre. They were similar colors. Both were trade ins. The salesman appeared to have to a minor degree  confused the two in speaking with you. In truth the back story was similar overall. The only difference was that one had been prepared to help out a temporary employee. They were of similar value. There was no attempt to misrepresent. Our 27 year reputation should attest to that.  That said, the process is such that opportunity for full disclosure is always provided in that all clients are allowed to demonstration drive the vehicles on their own as long as they like.

All points of contract, documentation and my position on the matter remail the same.

I am rejecting this response because:

The information you are stating is incorrect.
The first time I complained about the car I called you on the phone.  When I made the first payment my wife drove me there in her car.  The only time I came up there in the car is the time that you referred me to a mechanic.  You drove the car and told me that all I needed was a tire. That was ANOTHER false statement that you made. I wouldnt consider it a minor degree of confusion on the salesman part. Its more to it than one of them being prepared to help out the temporary employee. The biggest FAULT is your company.  Again your salesman ensured me that the car I was purchasing was the one that was prepared for the employee and thats not the vehicle you sold me therefore I was sold a misleading LIE!  I wouldnt call that a minor mishap.
My wife and I came in to talk about/rectify the issues.  To express the concerns. In January my wife called you and expressed more problems with car.  She asked you if I can trade in the car for something different.  You said you will take it back as a voluntary repo but its nothing you can do with it bc it holds no value.
On Dec 4th I also asked for a print out of all the work you guys claimed to have done on the car and the other guy said **** couldnt give that to me but could verbally tell me what had been done.   My wife called you today and the same salesman that sold me the car said you were on the phone with a customer and would call me back.  Well it 6:00 now and still no call back. You sold me a 2000 Buick LeSabre for around ***** the blue book value on that car is $250. the manifold leak is still there and the rear brakes are rubbing so you guys did less as possible just to sell the car
I have replaced the radiator, thermostat, coolant  sensor, pcv valve, 2 front hub bearings ,front driver axle ,coil packs ,shocks struts and NOW as of today fuel pump, water pump, heater core etc
