Emergency Vet Appointment German Shepherd 1 Year Of Age My pet was taken to CVS due to not having access to any emergency vet near ********,**. My pet was walking but had car hit and run injuries such as Red Bleeding Eye/Heavy Breathing/Scrapes.Upon arriving staff were able to take my dog to be treated. We attempted to pay for service in Cash, but Staff said they only took Checks. We eventually paid for the service with a card. Fortunately staff were able to take my dog back and give him pain meds and a IV.In the waiting room after a 20 minute wait, staff finally walked in and gave an update stating my dog was in critical condition with serious chest trauma. Staff then said Since you guys werent able to afford it a doctor released some air from his chest we were able to afford the exam fee. Staff then proceeded to say that my ************ were to put him down or spend 2 or 3 Thousand dollars and that might be to expensive for you not only to make my night worse but not showing any empathy or remorse for the situation.Unfortunately I signed off the put my dog down since I couldnt take him back home or anything. Staff then asked me if I wanted to say final goodbyes. I said no. 10 minutes later another staff member was rolling him the waiting room for final goodbyes that I didnt not request. Spending $195 just to barely be given information. $0 to kill my dog but $150 to cremate him and $350 to get his remainsAs traumatic as this experience was staff made me feel, unwanted, horrible, and made the experience of losing a pet like it was nothing. They did not say sorry or try to console. They did not do anything in a helpful way besides kill my pet. $195 wouldnt bring him back, but it could have been used on his cremation or a grave site. Imagine hearing Since you werent able to afford as you dog is waiting for their death. Id liked the staff to know about this and maybe work on showing a sign of care. ********************** is staff to be mentioned.

We have always taken cash as a payment with this hospital and have for the past 25 years. The client was told that we do not do cash refunds and that would be sent as check if need be. Just a miscommunication. I have already spoken to the client about her experience and let her know that the remainder of the balance was being taken care of since there was a discrepancy when it came to pricing and communication. The only fee that she paid was the $195 for the exam.

On 9/22/22 we took our dog Izzy Page to her 4th knee surgery with a total cost over $10.000 .The following Monday she was wheezing and a cough. By Friday a lot of coughing. We took her back to Carolina Veterinary to find out she has Kennel Cough and by this time it has spread to my other 4 dogs. Since she got the Kennel cough from her overnight stay there They should have to pay for all the treatment it has cost $748.74 for this issue. My dogs never leave the yard and are never around other pets After several phone calls to ******************** (office manager) said he would check on it and kinda of just blew me off. It's weeks 3 weeks and no reply. I have emailed him a copy of all invoices and no response.
