Truly nightmarish experience. ****, who runs Copacetic Metal Shaping, told me he could do a job and within a time frame of a couple of months. This was key as I told ********** needed the car ready for shows and for auction as the car market was hot and all of my cash was tied up in this rare classic car. I told **** when I sold the car I would be using those funds to make other investments. Long story short, I spent thousands of dollars to locate those other investment cars and needed just the money from my car. However, at the two month **** **** said the work was not finished. Month after month would pass with me literally begging him to finish the work so I could sell the car. **** almost never answered the phone forcing me to leave voicemails but trying not to sound too pushy. After about six months **** says he found better photos that showed how to better complete his work. He said it would cost an additional $1,500 to make the doors look just like the original doors. By now I was like, I've waited this long, might as well get them done right! Well, another half year passes with me begging for my doors and **** finally says they are done! He sends me photos and they do NOT look like they are supposed to look! They are dramatically noticeably different. I complain to **** and ask him to make them like the photos he sent of the proper doors. He refuses. Demands more than $6,000! As a result of ****'s actions, the investments did in fact go up 200-300% but I was not able to make the investment thanks to ****'s failure to deliver as promised within 2 months and instead, after a year, the doors were still wrong! Of course, now **** simply doesn't answer his phone. Nightmare that has verifiably cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars. I then said since the doors don't look like photos don't charge that extra $1500 but **** insists on all of it. Apparently **** has no conscience from where I'm sitting.
