I am so unhappy with this company. I was referred by another company and my experience left me out of $500+ dollars for unnecessary repairs. I was told the employers were honest Christian people, but my situation was not handled the way an honest company would handle things. I left my 2011 Dodge Caravan with the company on 11/10/2021 because it failed inspection due to wiper blades not working, tire pressure light, and check engine light. I was told, it would cost $1300 to fix everything so it would pass inspection, which I paid before I picked the vehicle up on 11/16. When I picked up the vehicle on that day, the tire pressure light was still on, and I was told to drive it for ***** miles to reset it. I left the location and 30 min. later the check engine light came on. I brought it back again, and they obviously reset it again, and the check engine light went out. I left and it came on again. After leaving and coming back the same day 3 times, I was told to leave the vehicle for a day for further diagnosis, which I gladly obliged. Before I left that evening, ***** (Manager) told me that whatever the issue was, he would see to it that it would be fixed. From a business standpoint, when you make a declaration like that, you must honor it. It is called integrity. I was called in the next day and told that the engine problem would cost thousands of dollars to resolve but they were not going to fix it. I was very unhappy with that because he (*****) gave me his word, that he would fix it, but instead, he stated that he could not repair it because it would cost too much. He stated that he did not think the repairs would be as expensive as they found out. That is still unfair because even though I was refunded $700+ I am out of $500+. If it was diagnosed properly in the beginning, I would have only paid the diagnostic fee and left. I was then stuck with paying them for other work, minus the engine problem, which does me no good. I feel that I deserved a full refund, because I was not given the correct information to make the best decision, in which I would not have had them do any work at all. I deserve all my money back.

First, let me say that I really like the ownership here and respect them very much. I think I'm more disappointed than anything here and hoping that this review will help the team to do better going forward. I brought my **** *** 325i to Christian Brothers Concord/****** Crossing on 9/23. I explained the issue of an oil leak and potential coolant leak. I also explained that this isn't my daily driver and there is no rush to diagnose/repair. CBA reviewed and sent the link to the issues... https://cba-concord.autotext.me/Admin/customerdvi/index.php?inspec_id=Nm1vOW1WaTVnNFJ2NlRyWWM3cHlMdEVpeEI0dmFBSi9POXBUZS9zOFg2RT0=Recommendation: ********** pan. Replace pcv separator and drain hose. Replace coolant tank and lower hose.Total cost for repair was $2400. It was a lot, especially for a car that is over 15 years old. However they reassured me that this would resolve the issues and it would be good to get it done. Knowing that the review and diagnosis was comprehensive, I approved the work. The work was completed and I brought the car home. Unfortunately, the oil leak was still present. I brought the car back in.They reviewed and **** called to tell me that the car had oil coming from the front cover/crank case cover/seal. They would have to do an engine removal and repair and seal the whole front cover. They explained that this would cost an additional $4000, however it may not actually fix the issue. They explained that the *** 325i has a high compression engine and that what also would need to be done would be work within the inside of the crank shaft, and that they would need to align the seal correctly, however they don't actually have the tool to do this. So $2400 + $4000 + additional work they can't do. At this point, I was pretty frustrated, as the value of the car isn't worth it. Also, had I known that the $2400 wouldn't actually fix the problem, I would have likely passed and looked into putting the money towards a new car. Lastly, I believe this company is very professional, and should be able to accurately diagnose an issue as common as an oil leak. I understand that leaks can come from more than one place, however that is why I mentioned that I was not in a hurry. A more comprehensive diagnosis could've prevented a situation where I have lost $2400 for a car that is not repaired, and now has a steady oil drip in my garage - actually worse now than before I brought it in. I truly believe in this company, but I think someone there truly dropped the ball, and I was left with no solution other than to drive away with a car that was not properly diagnosed & repaired.
