            In April 2021, we signed a work order with Tiffany from J & A Flooring to install some new kitchen cabinets. She asked us to pay advance to order the cabinets. We paid advance of $1,100 (50% of the order) to her. She kept telling the cabinets haven't come in yet. Then she started telling her workers got COVID. Then she said they are backed up on the commitments. So it will be few more days. Every time we gave the benefit of doubt and supported local business in this difficult time. Then she stopped responding and picking up our calls. We asked her to pay back otherwise we will have to file a claim. She said she will pay the advance back and then again we waited almost 3 weeks and till date she hasn't paid us back. Now again no response from her. So we decided to file a compliant.
