            I brought my boat (Tahoe T16) that I had previously purchased from Bass Pro to the service department on 02/03/23 for a scheduled recall. While there I had asked them to check the battery because it was not charging. I was informed as part of their service they do a multipoint inspection. 1-2 days later I received a call informing me that after their inspection it was determined that I needed a new battery. I was informed the price of the battery was $140. The following day I was called and told service was complete with a total change of $275 dollars. The extra charge was for 1hr of labor. This was not previously discussed as part of the initial battery quote. I had went to pick up the boat on 02/09/23 to discuss the extra charge in hopes of a resolution. I was informed by the service manager that there was nothing he can do and although I was not happy, the price was the price.

            I purchased a new 2023 Nitro Z 19 Pro in June of 2023, at Outdoor World Bass Pro Shops in ********** the price ******. I have enjoyed it with no problems and have put about ************************************** June 2024 I decided to try to upgrade to a new 2023 Z20 Pro they have on sale for ******. When I got the quote from salesman they only offered me ****** on trade. I was floored at the lowball trade value of my boat. The salesman said they would have to price the trade in at about ******. He also said these figures came from corporate, and the reason for the low value was it was because of the amount of inventory left to sale by Bass Pro Shops. It's June 2024, the boat I wanted is a 2023 also and a store demo with appx 10 hrs on it. I feel that this is a slap in the face to loyal customers if not price gouging. This would have been my 3rd new Nitro boat. It seems that if they can't sell their inventory that the re sale value on their products are going to drop. Is this a better business practice?
