January 10th 2023, I made an appointment with the owner Carmen Leris to renew my DACA. I met with Carmen on the afternoon of January 10th and provided all of the necessary documentation needed for the renewal. I paid a money order of 500 dollars to cover the fees for the renewal. I also was charged a fee for services rendered totaling $350.00. She assured me that my paperwork would be sent that day. She also stated that I would receive an email to notify me that my application had been sent and received by the ****** I never received a receipt number so I waited to hear back for about a week before I reached out to check on the status of my application. I was told that they had not received any paperwork from the ***** and that there were delays in the renewal process for DACA. They told me to try to be patient and that they would reach out to me and check up on my process. Again I waited for a couple of weeks and reached out again, there was still no word. I showed up in person to the place because I was not receiving a call back. They told me to be patient and that Carmen was not in the office that day. At this point months had passed and there was still no word, so I called the ***** and spoke to an agent who confirmed that there was nothing on file from the 2023 year for me and that no application or paperwork had been received. The agent also stated that you are supposed to receive a receipt number the day that the application is received by the ***** to confirm that they received your documentation. She offered no solution or explanation as to why I had not even received a receipt number. I showed up again with my father to confront Carmen. She refused to speak with me and told her employee that she was too busy with a current client to talk to me. We told the worker that we knew that she had not sent in my application and that we wanted our money back and we would send in our own. She ended up sending in an application on my behalf after I told her not to.
