Dont waste your time at this dealership. They will give you the run around. I called 1 day ahead of time said I would be there the next day to look at car. Car was dirty when I got there. I put $1000 down to hold the car so I could get my daughter there to test drive. I decided they were charging too much and didnt want the car. That was 8 days ago and have yet to get my money. I used my debt card but they have refused to credit it back to it. Then owner came out and comes up with they cant print a check cause their printer is down. I came here today and have been waiting 2 hours now to get check. Horrible customer service. I am about to lose it with these people. Dont put money down unless you are buying the car.Review from Logan H

Horrible customer service,I bought a used dodge hellcat here for more than they sell new Hyundais for.Within the first hour and a half of owning this car that was throughly inspected,(They broke the tpms sensors in the wheels, put the wrong viscosity oil in it,which I got a check engine light for later on.They also couldnt spare the $4 dollars for a new battery for the key fob.The price was also thousands of dollars off when I got there.Unsatisfied is a high understatement.)It broke down at ***********************,and wouldnt start.I then had to pay a tow truck $300 to tow this car that I had for less than 2 hours to my house.I called the dealer ship Monday may 20(I bought the car Saturday may 18)and the owner assured me he would take care of it.The fuse box power wire was loose, and was arcing off of the strut tower, which has fried my ecu.I have yet to hear back from anyone here, they do NOT return calls, nor do they answer the phone. So In short,I now have a $40000 car that is a yard ornament due to these folks.Save your self the trouble,do NOT purchase from these guys.Review from Tiarra M

If I could give zero stars I would. I had my car towed last week on Tuesday 12/12. That Thursday 12/14 I made my decision on what needed to be done to my car after to speaking to my *************************. That was my last time speaking to him. The next day I called to get a status on my car and got the receptionist/secretary. She assured me someone would give me a call. That did not happen. I have called at least 5 more times either getting an off site rep or the secretary there on site. Last time was yesterday 12/19 to an off site rep who said she is sending a note over to the service manager ******* to call me back. This is so frustrating and to top it off it's the holiday season. I'm still without a vehicle and then they say they have no loaners. Looking at the other reviews I'm not alone on this. There is definitely a lack of customer service but they advertise how great they are. Yea right! I've looked up Hyundai Corp number and will be calling when they first open.Lake Norman Hyundai Response

Zero communication from service department. My car was towed in to their service on 6 days ago for theft damage repairs. My insurance already inspected and processed the claim at their shop. I've been calling everyday since then to get an update on my car, no update so far, not even an acknowledgement that they have started working on the car. Someone picks up the phone and will ask you to leave message for service department and say that they will call back. No one ever calls back. My service advisor name is *****. I have his number too but it is useless. He will never respond to your calls.Lake Norman Hyundai Response

Terrible experience at LKN Hyundai. I brought my vehicle in for diagnostic & repair for an engine recall issue. It took almost 2 weeks to get a response back from ANY one at LKN Hyundai about what was the status of the vehicle and whether Hyundai was going to repair/replace the engine. Further, was told they had no loaners available but that I could rent a vehicle and Hyundai would reimburse me for the rental. Not only did it take another week to repair but when I submitted my paperwork for reimbursement it was denied (they claimed that providing my title was not sufficient proof of ownership even though it is one of the examples given as what is sufficient for proof of ownership). I'm done with all Hyundai related products and entities!!! Even if I was to be offered a free hyundai, I would certainly pass. HYUNDAI SUCKS!!!!!!!Review from Russ

I recently had the worse experience ever at LKN Hyundai. I took my car for a recall repair, and was told I would have my car back in 2 weeks. I was given a loaner and After 4 weeks with no update and no notifications on my car I called to get an update and was told my engine was on back order. After another 3 weeks I was called and my car was ready for pickup. Prior to me dropping my car off I had a working battery and alternator. When I was called and told my engine was fixed, they also told me that I needed to replace my battery. They offered to put the battery in for me at the cost of parts and labor or said I could buy and bring my own battery and put it in myself. I chose to put the battery in myself. After installing the battery I was told that I was good to go. 3 days later on my way to see my daughter a hour away my car breaks down on me again. I get it towed back to Hyundai to have them take a second look at it. Come to find out when they replaced my engine they put the old belts back on. The old belt popped and is what caused me to break down on the way to my daughter. I spoke to the technician about the issues concerning my car, he was aware that the belt was old and still proceeded to put it on. After speaking to him I called my cousin who is a mechanic and had the technician explain it to him. My cousin asked the technician why I was never notified of the old belt. The technician than began to get loud and wouldnt let anyone else talk. He was very dismissive and told me to speak to the service manager. The service manager was also very rude and began to raise his voice as well after being asked the same question.Review from Jim W

Had a diagnostic done at Meineke and they stated the turbo was out in my son's Veloster. I took his vehicle to this dealership to get a second opinion. I was told after a diagnostic test that the turbo was not the problem that is was definitely the intake manifold. I asked Kolby if he was sure and he stated absolutely. He gave me a price and I stated if this will fix it to proceed. Never heard back after a week so I called him and he stated he had good news and bad. Stated the manifold was on but it was not producing boost. Stated now it was the waste gate valve. Stated this would definitely get the problem fixed. Stated the intake was bad though. Right. Didn't hear from him again for almost a week so I call him and he states they replaced the waste gate valve but now it is the turbo. I said I have all my calls incoming and outgoing recorded and he assured me the intake was the issue at first and then the waste gate and now he's stating the turbo was bad which Meineke said was the issue. I told him I wasn't paying for them replacing parts that weren't bad. He then started to say those parts were contributing factors which was not what he stated. Told him I wanted to speak to the service manager and since it was the end of the day he would have him call me the next day. Didn't hear anything from them the next day so I called and asked for Rob who is the service manager. Kolby never told the manager the issues so I explained it to Rob. He stated he would call me back and when he did he stated his mechanic was standing behind his diagnoses and I stated wouldn't you if you made two mistakes? He then had the audacity to ask me if I would meet him halfway with the costs he wanted to originally charge me. I said no and that I wanted to pick my son's car up the next day. My son picked the car up the next day. We took it to S&S Automotive in ****** and they replaced the turbo which was the issue and looked at the old parts from Hyundai they stated were bad and stated theseReview from Kayla A
