I have been trying to follow up since Monday on return of my personal property. No phone calls have been returned and no one will pick up. I will be contacting a lawyer.

Trash. Doesn't answer the phone. Claims they can't give out address of the vehicle due to "safety concerns" canceled several appointments scheduled to pick up the vehicle and refuse the give the lien company the address ither. Absolutely disgusting customer service if you can even call it that.

We apologize for the added layer of security our insurance carrier request that we provide by not providing the storage address until the lienholder confirms we are authorized to release a unit. Each lienholder has a storage location address for each recovery. We attempt to make sure each release is handled as quickly as possible. That is not always possible due to various reasons we cannot control. We apologize for your inconveniences.

The customer service was really rude when I just wanted her to answer a simple question. This is very unacceptable as customer service goes

I'm writing in hopes to alert the public of the service I have received from this company. I contracted Covid-19 in late July. Unable to work I lost two weeks of pay in which put me a month behind on my truck payment. The payment was set up on auto draft. Once the draft went through and the monies were not available the auto draft was automatically removed. Being my age with little guidance I was not aware that the auto draft was not still in effect to draft my vehicle payment as it had in the past. With no notices, nor phone call from the ************** Santander USA of my non-payment I woke up to a nightmare early Sunday Morning. Premier Recovery Services the company that was hired to repo my vehicle done so in the early morning hours of November 7th, 2021. No knock at the door, no one notified the me of the actions that were being taken. The ************ used a lock out kit to enter the vehicle and the spare key was in the console of the truck. In which they used to repo the vehicle to unlock the wheel. Once the I awoke Sunday morning and I go to leave I walked out the door to find that my vehicle is gone. I immediately contacted The *** ************************ to report his vehicle stolen. It was then I was instructed my vehicle had been repossessed. Who notified law enforcement? The repo company did. Per the **********************************************************. out of ********* **. I have been informed you cannot remove a person's vehicle from your residence without obtaining your permission in which they did not obtain from me. First thing Monday the 8th, of November I contacted the finance company Santander USA to explain what I had since learned to find out what I needed to do to obtain my vehicle back. Once an agreement was made I provided proof of Insurance, and payment and was instructed to contact the Premier Recovery Services in 15 mins. I contacted them several times through the day for updates on when I could recover my truck and or my personal belongs and was told repeatedly no. That they had not received authorization to release the vehicle from the finance company in which the finance company had nothing to do with my personal belongs which included my wallet with all identification along with debit cards and credit cards. A hand gun in which my uncle had gifted me in which is priceless due to how it was obtained, my girlfriend's wallet with all of her personal identification and bank cards along with ******** in cash that was under my front seat. A close friend of mine attempted to help by contacting Premier Recovery their self to assist me due to my age and got no where only that I would not receive my vehicle, nor my personal belongings because they close at 2pm even though the website states 5pm. They also attempted to contact Santander USA which is the finance company along with the myself and was told they could only discuss the matter with me, and me only even though I gave them permission to speak with this person through a conference call. We were hung up on. Which brings us to today Tuesday November 9th, in which the I contact Premier Recovery Services yet again, someone picks up I speak with them and I was told to hold, an hour later they return to the phone to explain my window was busted out last night, I ask if my personal belongings were stolen, in which they replied they did not have an inventory receipt of what personal belongings I had therefore, they could not answer that question, and to contact them when I was on his way to obtain my vehicle. I did not return a call to them it was then when I went straight to their impound lot located in ************ **. The vehicle was listed on the repo sheet as being held at their ****** location. Upon arrival the window was indeed busted out and all my personal belonging were taken. The young lady that works at this locations was very helpful and was very understanding however, she is only an employee and has no say on what took place. The repo company had not filed a police report pertaining to this quote break in into the impound yard nor, could they show proof of someone entering the yard by cutting a lock on the gates or anything. The fence surrounding the place showed no signs of were someone cut the chain link fence topped with barbed wire. Once again I contacted local law enforcement in which a statement was given and a report filed with an officer that arrived at the impound lot. Who also believes things are not adding up. The officer also went as far as contacting the general manager of the company and was told that I handed my keys over to the repo guy, and it was my fault my personal belongings were stolen cause I was given the chance to obtain such items at the time of repossession. NOT TRUE, the repo company has a report within their computer system on how the repossession took place and after the officer spoke with the General Manager the report got changed to reflect the General Manger's story right before the officers eyes. But, there is also a hand written report which does not match the General Mangers editing of the stated event. The officer himself said I need to contact an attorney and he would be more than willing to testify to his part and take on what has happen. An attorney cost money and right now I got a long way to recovery from this financial set back due to this situation. But, I think I will no matter the cost. There is few laws that have been broken here. One, I have been informed you cannot remove a person's vehicle from your residence without obtaining your permission in which they did not obtain. Secondly, you cannot deny someone their personal belongs upon a repossession which also is against the law, Third, not completing an inventory list of all personal belongings within the vehicle upon processing a repossessions, and forth damage to the vehicle. The repo company has only agreed to pay for fixing the broken window. The was told again today that they have not received the approval from the finance company to release the vehicle so yet another day goes by without any transportation. I have researched this repo company Premier Recovery Services and The Better Business Bureau already has 12 complaints against this company and not to mention all the other countless bad reviews on the internet. I know to some this isn't much of a story but, in this day in time for a 19 year old young man such as myself to work everyday and work hard for I have obtained since completing *********** this is outrage. To see companies like these take advantage of me a young man who gets up without fail and continues to work to build that ******* Dream sickens me. The finance company is also at blame here. You have a customer who purchased a product from you, paid you on time every month, without one missed payment until I became ill with this awful Covid-19. They never thought to reach out, call me, mail a notice? Per my research they are just a shady as the repo company they hired. This gives them the opportunity to collect even more revenue. As if they don't receive enough with their high interest rates. I just want justice, my personal belonging, my truck fixed and returned to me. I held some blame here to for not knowing any better and not looking over my finances like I should but, I just assumed the payment was being made. I know how much I have to live off of a week and I stay within my budget never thinking to check my checking account. I was fortunate to have some guidance through all this. That is still going on! I still have not received my truck back. However, not all young adults have someone to look out for them, and that's were companies like Premier Recovery Services and Santander USA step in and take advantage of them.
