  Hired company to prep my home prior to painting, paint and add gutters. The majority of the funds were paid to the company in the sum of $3,000 and the job incompleted and abandoned. The house was power wash, decayed wood replaced; however, no additional prep work was done prior to painting the home's exterior such as removal of wires that were inopt. In addition, incorrect paint was used, exterior doors, walls were not painted, a lock on one of the exterior doors not installed and gutters were not installed as well. Made an attempted to resolve this matter with the company's owner **********. Mr. ******* stated via text message " Take that 1200 hundred dollars and find someone else to finish the job. I'm done." I again attempted to resolve these issues prior to making this complaint informing him of my intent and he stated "Do it. I'm done" I am a single woman basically taken advantage of. Mr. ******* completed estimate 2 yrs ago, then he returned 2021 with a new estimate and price

  Business Response /* (1000, 23, 2021/11/03) */ Contact Name and Title: ***** *******, owner Contact Phone: ********** Contact Email: ******************* more work was completed then what was paid for. how ever client was disrespectful, argumentative, hard to please, demanding and indecisive. kept adding more to the work load. we never complained and we did all she asked of us. all colors and materials were approved by the client. we had 10% of work left to do and was there on the day to do it. client was unbearable that day so i made the decision to stop work under those conditions. forfeited my remaining balance $1200 and told her to hire some one else to complete the rest. never was i or my workers rude or disrespectful. we just knew we didn't deserve to be treated the way we were. we left all material at the owners house for her to give to the next contractor to complete the job. after reading her complaint i see on top of everything she is also a liar. the entire exterior of home was painted, rotten wood was replaced and painted. all shutters we're removed and refurbished to like new. back door and frame was completely replaced with a new door and frame. hard wear was not installed but was bought and left with the home owner. we were not responsible for removing cable and electrical wires on the outside of house. thats for an electrician.
