On March 3, Suggs and Sons did a move for me from one location in ******* to another. First they showed up an hour earlier before agreed. They suppose to be professional company but they didnt want to transfer TVs and other stuff. I had my stuff prepared in bags and boxes. I thought I could leave a professional crew to complete a job without being babysat. I had to go to the destination to prepare for the move. It was just me. I didnt have anyone to watch the movers. After, all this I WISH I DID HAVE SOMEONE THERE.. I paid ****** for missing screws from monitor stand, table and book shelf. They took my red drill they never returned. I had shoes missing, decor items and other stuff. This move was extremely sloppy. All the movers in the past make sure everything is neat and easily to unpack. I moved to a one bedroom apartment it took me weeks to unpack that sloppy work and stuff are still in boxes. I asked for 30% refund- nothing! The response I received is that I cancelled 3 times ( I explained in my texts I didnt get my keys yet). Then the response he wanted to refuse to move- because how I had things packed- I wish he have refused the move - there is no excuse for $700 for pure sloppiness. I was taken advantage of plain and simple- I advise anyone planning to move please beware!!! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANYBusiness response

To whom it may concern:
After several scheduling conflicts on clients behalf, Suggs & Sons Moving continued to attempt to accommodate the client (after explaining to client she would not be able to utilize the Groupon/ Groupon rate, as client home was outside of radius which was stated in fine print via Groupon). Suggs & Sons Moving completed the move for client on 3/3/24 (******* to ******* move). Per Suggs & Sons Contract, there is a cleanliness clause as Suggs & Sons has the right to refuse move, but Suggs & Sons continued to provide outstanding and empathic customer service. We continued with move despite of home being in disarray and unprepared for move. The client was present during beginning of move and then proceeded to leave property. We reached out to client to via text to ask if client would be returning to location as there was not a way to lock door to property. The client stated via text she would be returning later, and its okay, and proceeding to ask was there a lot of stuff; video sent of all items remaining to provide video documentation of remnants remaining in location. At this time the client requested Owner to bring monitor. Client was informed that Suggs & Sons would not be responsible for any damages to a black tv stand. Also, client was following move, client verbalized she was happy with move and proceeded to complete payment on 3/3/2024 with no concerns or complaints at time of completion of move.
On (date) client reached out to Suggs & Sons moving owner via text and verbalized how unhappy she was with move and screws were missing, etc. Owner asked client to send over detailed list of items, which were never sent. Owner did locate drill on truck but was unable to locate pack of screws. Client proceeded to detail other Items such as a glass stand, which owner reassured client said item was there, but owner asked for make and model to replace item as well as a picture of monitor leg. Neither requested pictures or list was not sent to owner. On 4/20/2024, client began to threaten owner of the demise of his black owned business, and continuously sent text messages over and over etc. No further interaction was made by client or owner. Client is attempting to dispute payment at 30% or payment which would be cost of Groupon (that client was told she could not use in the beginning of verbal communication via phone when client first called to schedule initial move) and a service she paid for and agreed upon after a month of being moved.
As a business, we are thorough and dedicated in what we do with years of experience. As a company and owner that was said to be amazing by client several times is now unfortunately being slurred with terrible names, etc.We have text messages and videos. The files wont upload because of the size. If you can provide an email Ill be happy with share these attachments.

I am rejecting this response because:
The response is unacceptable. I am extremely unhappy with the services provided 30% would not equal to the Groupon. I requested 30% because sloppiness and missing items. If you are professional company you should be able to handle any type of move. I never heard of a moving company like this. Thats why a person pay a moving company for help. Yes, I left the property. Because I was by myself- I had to prepare for the move. Sorry, a so call professional company needs to be babysat. Terrible service plain and simple - I dont care about your other clients, but the service you provided me was HORRIBLE HORRENDOUS!
