Tony's Touch Painting and Repair, is a business, that was referred to me, to do some renovation work on my condominium. I contacted Tony to get an estimate of the work I wanted done, which consisted of, removing wall paper, painting, and doing some flooring work. On 2/16/22, Tony came to my house and took measurements, and gave me an estimate of $6651.63 to do the renovations I wanted. I asked him if this included the materials, and he said yes. Before he started the job, he said I had to give him 30 % up front. I asked him how long it would take to compete the renovations, and he said one week. I told him I would call him when I was ready for him to begin the work, and he said he would need a couple of weeks, because he was working on another project. Tony actually called me to start the renovations, and when he came, I again asked him if the materials were included. He denied telling me that the materials were included. I gave him a cashires check for $1, 995.00 on 4/6/22, which is when he began the job. That amount should have been deducted from the estimate. Also on the estimate, it clearly list the materials, which he denied were included. If that were the case, the flooring should not have been listed on the estimate. I also paid for the flooring out of pocket, since he had a lapse in memory, of stating that the materials were included, and that amount should have been deducted from the original estimate. The job took an entire month for him to complete,, and at every stage, it was problematic. He dropped a container of food from my freezer onto the dirty floor, and put it back into the freezer wrapped in a plastic bag, and failed to tell me. He left my balcony door unsecured, because he did no lock it back into place from the top and bottom. He left a piece of wood on the floor with a nail sticking out of it, which I or my dog could have stepped on. He did not measure the tiles properly, and some tiles are lifting. Do not use this company.

Unfortunately there will be clients that no matter how far you go to please they will always complain. Very hostile working conditions and nightly rants. Paid by cashier's check. In full, lots of upgrades to project hinges, knobs, registers in ceilings, and said door was in disrepair and in need of being replaced, very hostile client.

Tony ******* is not a skilled contractor. He gave me an estimate and said the materials were included. He also asked me for 30 % up front, which I paid in the amount of $1,995.00. I looked at the contract shortly after he started the work? and told him that the balance had to be recalculated, minus the flooring that I paid for. He agreed to the revised calculation, and faced to tell me to also minus the $1,995.00, which I paid up front, but luckily I caught it, before giving him the final cashiers check. Tony broke the kick plate at the bottom of my refrigerator and failed to tell me. When I br6 it to hos attention, he simply shrugged it off. He broke the grill drawer at the bottom of my stove, and failed to tell me. He lost a **** to one of my curtain rods in the living room, and failed to tell me. He dropped a frozen container of food, from my freezer, onto the dirty floor, and cracked the container. Instead of telling me, he thought it was ok to put the damaged container in a plastic shopping bag, and shove it back into my freezer.. He left a piece of wood with a nail sti ki g out of it, on the floor, and had I not seen it? my dog or myself, could have stepped on it. He left my balcony door unsecured, because he forgot to latch the top and bottom lock, and as a single woman, I had to sleep with the door unsecured. He did not measure the tiles properly, and you can see the su floor in certain areas, and some of the tiles are peeling. The tes are a stick and peel? and he put some kind d of adhesive underneath, which is gummy, and oozing from the side of some of the tiles.When I would come home after a long day of work, on many occasions he would still be there, and thus would be after 6pm. O.n the one occasion that I stayed home, he talked incessantly about what his wife wad not doing in the home, and about his daughter's alternative life style. He would literally not stop talking. His poor skills, lack of integrity and incompetence would make anyone go into a rant, as he put it. What was supposed to be the final day of his job, the day before, I sent him a text, and told him I was going out of town for the weekend? and wait until that Mondzy yo wrap it up. Well before I could get on the highway, my neighbor called and informed me that his truck was in my parking space, so I doubled back home, and when I entered my condo, I caught Tony vaping in house. When he saw me, he tried to shove the vape pen in his pocket. Tony is unprofessional, lacks integrity, does not use proper judgment, and produces poor quality work. Maybe if he spent less time discussing his personal business, and less time vaping, maybe he can vompete a job in a timely manner and correctly. Go to Yelp, I was able to put up pictures., which speaks louder than words, and as for the extra"s,, I never asked him to purchase **** those cheap door knobs and vent covers, which he installed poorly. He purchased them, beca6 he probably thought this would justify trying g to up charge me. Stay far away from this guy, unless you want to ha e to hire another contractor to go behind his horrible work.
