I'm in North Texas.******* approached me at a gas station and told me his incredible deal he could make for my truck and my wife's car. My gut said it was too good to be true and my gut was right.******* ********* is a con artist of the highest order. He took my wife's car in October of last year. And while he did pay for the rental, it was always "next week it'll be done." Four months later we finally got my wife's car back and it still had a damaged windshield and taillight. My truck was returned with a damaged taillight as well. Six months later, he still doesn't have the money to get either of them fixed. He dodges my calls all the time. He promised to give us $1000 per vehicle and while he came through on the truck, he flaked over and over on the second $1000. I doubt I'll ever see that money. If what this guy offers seems too good to be true, it is. Nightmare experience. Go to a reputable repair place and avoid this disaster of a business.

My associate and I met*************** at the gas station on a Saturday afternoon. We spoke in length about his truck which was present at the time and his wife's explorer which was not.. ***** explained how*********** initial estimate was very low at the time and the waiting list for a body shop was months out. He also mentioned that he did not want his roof and other panels replaced on either vehicle if possible.

I explained our business which is Paintless Dent Repair. We went into detail that because of the extensive damage on the April 28th 2021 hail storm that most vehichles need paint and body work as well as PDR.
Our technicians have at least 15 years of experience and do great work.
I further mentioned if any panel is not factory finish quality when its Pdr the panels go to the bodyshop for paint and body.

We offer pick up and delivery and a free rental vehichle. We provide deductible assistance depending on what state we are in.

We shared our contact info and month of back and forth because they were in the middle of moving into a new home. He said they going through tough times financially because of the new home.

I said I understood and would like to make the process easy for them.

When we took his f150 in he had mentioned he needed a truck to rent. His rental coverage was $ 600 or 25 a day. I gave them a F250 from a truck rental place that was $475 a week. He also requested if I could give him a $1000 before the vehichle was done. Which we did.

The truck was delivered as promised in perfect condition.

We had windshield replaced as well.

On that vehicle We were out of pocket $2800 dollars not including the deductible that was never paid.

The explorer which I Did not see until a few days before we picked it up had extensive damage.

We explained the vehicle goes to a body that we use and have used and do a great job but they are slower and because of the amount of vehicles that were damaged in the storm the time frame varies. We have no control over the body shop as most people know.

We answered his calls and kept him up to date continually. We would give him the same responses on time and when it would be finished by the body shop.

Everyday the explorer was in the shop cost us money and what little profit there was.

We sent ***** ***** money once a week sometimes my employee would deliver cash to him for the rental. The body shop did not care that we were spending money on rental for the client mason. He closed for holidays and they also said they had covid as well. I felt horrible for *****, and the worst part we had no control until the body shop finished the vehichle.

***** started to threaten us and call non stop because he wanted the another $1000 before the vehichle was returned. They always had a rental and we zelled money 1 to 2x a week including one instance 2 days we sent $ 600 to him he said he needed for a deposit. Not once would he send any reciepts so I had to take his word for it.

The vehichle was deliver back in perfect condition except for the windshield which body shop never installed . We sent the winshield and tailight money back to statefarm. Windshield is $800 and ********* only sent around $487.

The last 2 months he called anywhere from 4 to 15 times a day to me and my employees making threats and demanding $ 1000.

We bent over backwards for the ******** family. Unfortunately the body shop took to long and cost us a lot of money. We spent over $2500 on renats and cash for the explorer.

He still never would send reciepts from **********. He demanded us to send a $1000 before he would send recoepts over from **********

That is not acceptable. There is a reason he does not want us to rsee the reciepts.

I reread this business' reply twice. I've thought long and hard about how I wanted to reply and whether I should point out the thirteen lies I found in this reply. I decided it's not worth it because it turns into he said/she said. I decided I wanted to point out more reasons to not do business with them. He told me a couple months ago that his business was feast or famine, he has $0 in the bank or $10k. And this was true with my two vehicles. The truck (which was delivered back with a broken tail light) was the feast part of the business. He came through for the $1k he promised. The Explorer was the famine part. He had the vehicle for three months and it came back with a broken windshield and broken tail light. Him and I had scheduled for someone to come to our house to install a windshield. When the day came, he explained he didn't have the money to send someone out. A business that doesn't have capital on hand to make the repairs it was paid by the insurance company to make isn't a good place to go for car repairs. Once again, use a reputable company that has cash on hand that isn't feast or famine and you know will do the job.

As I said in the original review it was always "one more week." To try and make some quick money, the owner asked about a hail storm he'd heard about up our way. I explained both vehicles were in the garage. He again asked if we had any damage because, and I paraphrase here 'maybe there was a way we could make some money off the insurance company.' I'm no legal expert and have zero knowledge about cars and insurance but that sounded really sketchy to me.

So in this business' reply to my review, he tries to make it out like it's the client's fault. Nice business model that seems to be really working.

I will reiterate for anyone who reads this RUN AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS AS SOON AS YOU CAN. He's a snake oil salesman and con artist who preys on car ignorant folks like myself.
