Over the past 10 days I have been consistently solicited by ******************************************** on LinkedIn attempting to sell me a product for the company I work for. I ignored his messages. About a week ago I started receiving emails to my work email trying to sell me a product. I responded on LinkedIn telling him to stop contacting me and that I am literally not a manager or decision maker at my company. The next morning he called my companies reception and then asked to get forwarded to my office phone number. I can get in trouble for looking like I am trying to make purchases on behalf of my company, and it is absolutely not OK to be bothering me at work. I have 0 idea how he obtained my work email (my mom doesn't even have my work email), and am frustrated that they think they can just regularly cold call me after being told no. I want no more contact from him or this company. I also suggest they change their strategy because if they did any research at all they would understand that my company doesn't purchase software from third parties--we make everything we need so we don't have to deal with people like *******. He has been added to my companies no-call list and no-email list.
