Very disappointed. ..He (****) absolutely tore my disabled/veteran uncles bathroom up. Collected a few thousand dollars up front, screamed and cussed his workers. Yelled at my uncle and told him he wouldn't turn another hand at work untill he got $5000.00 more . Called his house a shack!! Said he shouldn't have agreed to fix the dump. Tried to intimidate my uncle. Left and took old toilet, new toilet and all the copper out of walls. Sink and mirror. And he says he teaches ************************

I have a pictorial record of all my work at this client's house. Unfortunately, I don't see a way I can post these pictures. We contracted to do the job, refunded the deposit back WITH $100 added, then got begged to do the project. Homeowner's daughter promised the VA was paying half, and the 'family' would scrape together the balance. This was a full bathroom remodel, plumbing, electrical, exhaust fan, new fixtures throughout, for $12,500.After working from 4JUN - 18JUN, and having been paid back my $100 gift, and $6,000, I had almost finished the job. I asked the homeowner for a partial payment at 915am, 1030am, 11am (at which time he told me he was told by family that the VA would not give him half the ***** promised because he was told my work would not 'PASS'.I went to the ********************** of the ****** Road VAMC, spoke with the person familiar with the client, showed her pictures, and she assured me I WAS IN COMPLIANCE. I went back to the client's home and asked for the partial payment, which would leave 10% due, since I was 90% complete. They refused to pay, so I packed my tools, and the new commode and new sink, and cut my losses.I didn't file a lien, didn't *** in small claims, just wrote a text indicating they made out pretty well, receiving $10,000 worth of material, fixtures, and labor for only $6,000.If I was given the opportunity, now that they've made a complaint against me, I would show pictures of the walnut collection under the bathtub, the goats entering the house while we worked, the insect infestation in the walls, the water damage allowed to exist because no one thought the torn out window was an is***, and many other problems this house has had since it was built in 1942 (per the client). No loan, so no homeowners insurance. The home would be uninsurable because it is in serious disrepair. I had decided to allow this client to keep what they've received from me, and I wasn't giving this THEFT they've perpetrated another thought, but now I must write this response. If they pur*** any additional FRAUD against me, I will make sure all the photos are viewed by all media legal and available.
