    I notice my July/August 2023 rent went up by $100. On July 27th I received an email stating my renters insurance policy expired but it never lapsed. On July 27th I uploaded a copy of the renewal and thought everything was ok. Not until Aug. 15th I received another email stating my policy expired. I immediately called the office and left a message for *******************************. She never returned my call so I called her again on Aug. 18th and was able to speak with her. She seemed to be confused and not knowing what was going on. She first told me that my lease had expired and then stated she did have the renewal. I asked her what was the additional $100 charge for rent. She then went on to say my insurance policy expired and I was not in compliance. I told her that I did in fact upload the renewal on July 27th and was not sure what happened or why they didnt receive it. I asked her how they can charge extra without informing me what the changes was. At no time was this communicated.I sent an email with the renewal to her and expected a full $100 credit to be used for my upcoming rent. At no time was I not in compliance as you can see the renewal was effective July 27, 2023- 2024 and should not be charged two $50 noncompliance fees for insurance that I have.There is a lack of communication or response from the office.
