I enrolled in this class and was highly disappointed with their service. Their instructor was rude to me my first night and I paid for a 3 hour session. We were let go after 2 hours. I signed a contract but never turned it in to them because I was so dissatisfied with the course. I was charged a $100 non refundable deposit. That I'm okay with but you can't charge me the other $195 for courses I did not attend and nowhere did it say that I couldn't cancel the day of the next scheduled class. I have emails, documents, and my own written testimony that I supplied my creditor *********** with as evidence of their negligence and terrible customer service. I only called them once and emailed them once but was told to stop harassing them and to not trespass and that I was trying to steal more money from them because my creditor gave me a temporary credit... I have attached below my documents I submitted to my creditor. I called my creditor first before the merchant because I just had a feeling they would not uphold their end of the bargain after reading poor reviews online. I deserve my refund of $195. This treatment was absolutely ridiculous I did not sign and turn in any documents stating that I would pay the rest of my bill until I completed 50% of the course. Which I did not finish 50% of. I only attended one class out of four. I told the organization my fraud claim would drop if they refunded me my money but they refused and voiced mostly false accusations towards me which Is why I am here now. My letter down below for *********** explains the situation a lot better than I am now. I just want this problem resolved, I have no ill will against this company. I just want back what's rightfully Mine.

I registered to attend ABC bartending school (Little Rock location) starting 8/23/22. I paid tuition in full ($295) when I arrived for the first class on the 23rd. Class was to start at 6:00 pm and end at 9:00pm. Class didn't start on time due to instructor doing some paperwork. She was also having side conversations with a student that was there for a missed class. There were two students that had missed class #3. The instructor asked us new participants if we would be ok with doing class #3 instead of our first class. This was very awkward as the new students had no idea what was going on. When class #3 ended (approximately 6:45 pm) the instructor said we could leave. So instead of 3 hours of instruction we received approximately 30 minutes. I wanted to get my money back. I called the main office twice. The first call I reached someone who said they would forward my refund request to the "CEO" and asked for the last four digits of my credit card. Since that call on 8/27/22 I have been unable to get a response via phone, email, texting through the website. I had emailed once with no response. I did a follow-up email requesting a refund "second attempt" which did bring an immediate hostile reply as since I mentioned I would file a complaint with the BBB. Attempts to resolve via email were not productive. I believe this is a common practice with the company of not providing refunds. There is in fact a refund policy which I reviewed on the first class day.

A $300 full payment was paid by Visa on 4/25/22 for a 2 week course (Tues (6-9pm + Thur 6-9 pm) beginning 5/3/22. The first class lasted 90min with the instructor indicating it was her last class of instruction. The second class lasted 60min with a new instructor who has never had bartending experience and read directly from the handouts and without any additional knowledge. The third class was cancelled 25min before the class started citing the instructor's niece was in an accident. It was at this time I requested the notes for the final two classes and the exam as I was unable to extend the classes. The company rep agreed to send the notes and exam. Two days later the materials were not sent and the $300 was requested to be returned. The company rep indicated it would be returned. When the monies were not received days later, I was informed it would take 10-15 days for remittance. Despite several phone calls, voicemails and emails, I have yet to receive the $300 reimbursement

Myself and two associates purchase a four day, 12 hour bartending course in Birmingham Alabama. On the first night, we were instructed for only 45 minutes by an instructor that had completed the course herself less than a year before. Our textbooks were not available on the first night, but we were told that they would be given out at our next class. On the second night of class, the instructor was 30 minutes late and only instructed us for maybe 25 minutes, We still didn't receive our textbooks. On our third night, we were told that a second class had started on top of our scheduled class and we would be given our training for the night after the first class had received their training. This entire experience has been very unsatisfactory to say the least. It is being run very unprofessionally and should not be allowed to continue to operate in this manner and taking money from unsuspecting individuals looking to learn a trade with which to earn an income. The training provided, as well as the environment in which it is being offered does not give the people taking the class the instruction needed to function as a bartender.
