      I recently went to Affordable Dentures and Implants for dental implants. They withheld crucial information that would have been helpful in my decision to whether to use them or not. They did not tell me they did not put in regular dental implants, only snap in denture implants. I went from September 2023 when they put the metal implants until April 2, 2024 when I realized they were putting in snap in dentures. I never would have paid $15,000 for snap in dentures. When I first went there I told them I wanted permanent implants and not dentures.

      November 8th 2022,my husband went into the ************ location for 8 extraction and temporary i the amount of *******. We got there 10 mins before our 2pm appointment. Once we got back, there began the extraction, the equipment was rusted and dirty. They had him in the back area. They began pulling, he tried to advise that he was not numb, and they took it in stride. One extraction was hard to get, and the female dentist did not have enough strength to pull it correctly and left part of the tooth in his gums. While still in pain , the attempted to fit him for dentures and he was still bleeding. The aide took the uppers and filed it a little and did not rinse before attempting to put them back in. During the procedure, the dentist left my bleeding husband in the chair while she took a 45 min meeting call. Per husband, who is disabled had to get up and get his own gauze. Also, during this time, no one checked on him. Being a VET with PTSD the situation became an issue. He was so upset that they had to call me back to the room to calm him down. It is now into his 1 month, his experience was so bad that he refuses to go back. He refuses to sear the temp denture due to the fit digs i to the gun where the extraction is not completely out. I contact the office manager and was offered, to only refund ****** for the dentures if we like to keep the one, we have or $765 if we return them. mind you my husband cannot wear the temp denture due the poor workmanship, and he has no teeth on the top which means he is still eating soft food . He could not enjoy Thanksgiving.. His appointment was at 200pm, we did not leave the office until 6pm. My husband is a vet and receiving minimum social security, which means I took my savings for a home to help him get a card to pay for it and now I am paying for something that is not right and will have to find another dentist to correct what they did. His last appointment was set for Nov 29, and I could not get him to go. I and requesting a full refund so that we can use the card we have and go to another dentist to receive proper care and a good fit.

      This is still an issue. I reached out to the name on the file for assistance. My husband still cannot use the **** dentures.

      I purchased a package for new dentures at affordable dentures in Fayetteville, nc. I paid the entire amount up front on august 37, 2021 in the amount of 4,990. The package included tooth extraction and dentures. I paid for the highest quality dentures they sold which were 3D dentures. Within the tooth extraction, they were suppose the shave my top jaw down under the gums so I would look more natural. The jaw surgery didn't happen and when I asked the Dr. R***** told me he forgot and didn't charge me anyway but he would do it anyway. It never happened. I received temporary dentures which were so bad that they actually stuck outside my mouth. I finally got a set of temp dentures that fit in my mouth but were of poor quality. I then waited for six months for my gums to heal and get the final product. They made 2 sets of 3D dentures which were poorly made. The teeth did not line within my mouth. On my last visit we made an agreement to do the lesser denture since they made them "in house" and would have more control. They would refund me the difference cost which is $850. This was told to me on May 27th. On my next appointment, they cancelled the appt and never called me to reschedule. THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE. Even the corporate offices don't return calls. I have since been calling them for status both at the Fayetteville office and corporate office - to no avail. I have offered to go to another affordable denture practice 85 miles away and still haven't heard anything from the company.

      March 2021 I was charged $3,289 total. I used care credit and cash to pay. I was told that It would take 6 months for the healing process and to get my permanent partial. As of today a whole year later. I still didnt get what I paid for. After being lied to on several occasions by Dr Reefer and his staff. I finally got to speak to Dr Reefer again on 3/26/22. He admitted to making a mistake with my entire process. So he agreed to give me back a full refund. When I asked for something in writing he told Jennifer the office secretary to write me up something. 20 minutes later after waiting. She said that Dr Reefer changed his mind and wasnt willing to give me anything supporting our refund agreement. After I told her that this is not acceptable. Jennifer went to speak with Dr Reefer again. So while I was waiting at the counter. I looked down and saw the letter that Jennifer typed up for him to sign. I politely took a picture of the letter addressed to me. Although he asked her not to give it to me. Jennifer was kind enough to leave it out. I dont recommend anyone to visit this location. This doctor has altered my facial appearance. And now Im fighting everyday to get my money back. I pray this review helps and keep the next patient from becoming a victim. He doesnt take ownership for any of his mistakes. After numerous attempts to get this resolved. I will be seeking an attorney tomorrow. I have attached the letter for review as well. I hope that Dr Reefer and any staff involved gets whats coming to him. Because I am human with a heart . I have also contacted their corporate office and left several messages for Virginia H***** which is a manager. She refuses to call me with a refund status update. I have patiently waited for over a year now. My issue should have been escalated and taken care of by now.

      I paid for my wife to get dental implants in February of 2021. My wife has still not received her snap in dentures. She has been back to the office multiple times for fittings but keeps being told that the dentures are not correct. I would like my wife to receive the product that has been paid for. It is rediculous that it has almost been one year, after payment, and the product is still not received. The business rarely answers their phone and does not return emails.
