I elected to apply for a TruFit membership in July of 2020. Due to an injury I suffered at the gym... due to damaged equipment. Forward to August of 2021. The credit card I use for my payment was compromised and had to be closed. Not remembering at the time my membership I haven't been using was being debited from it. More than one attempt was made to withdraw the money in October. They made no effort to inform me of this until they added late fees and whatever else is on there. I called Paramount and TruFit to get this resolved. I was told I had to send a letter asking to end my membership. I sent a letter and emails. I contacted TruFit again today because the amount is still increasing. I was told they haven't received any emails or letters... which I assumed would happen. TruFit blames Paramount/ Paramount blames TruFit. I was also told today that my $38 membership ends in July or 2022 and that I could do a buy out for $199... but still have to pay Paramount $100. I get it... Read your contract... right. well I have... and due to businesses pulling this type of mess, I document everything. Let's see how much of your so-called contract has been upheld by TruFit. I've tried to follow so-called procedure as it is stated by TruFit. So now I'm here. Cancel my membership and let's call it even. Thank you and have a nice day.
