On Thursday April 4th I had contracted a ********* to repair a cabinet in my kitchen ( from Angies List) As he was surveying the job I asked him to look at an area in the bedroom bathroom floor(it had a dip like a sunken area of the floor .. He looked at it and gave me an estimate of $825 to repair it and said he could take care of it today . I agreed to his terms. and paid him $825 on cash app.Upon pulling up the floor he realized it was a much bigger job and came back to me with a new price of $3600. At this time my floor was pulled up and I once again agreed to the terms feeling uneasy about this I told him I would pay $2000 and pay the remaining $1600 when job was completed. ***** was left exposed to our basement until 4/5/24 when he returned to finish the bathroom floor I have submitted pictures of what he did and what the floor looked like before and after.In the after picture he covered a hole in the floor with tile snd a open area around the bathtub that a snake or anything could have crawled through He was to return to resurface the tub and collect the rest of the money . I looked at what he had done and the terrible job and make the decision to call in someone else to give an estimate and finish the job. I paid another ********* $3720 to finish and fix what he messed up .., I would desire a refund of $2825 which is what I paid him .
