Very expensive. They quoted $2,755 to replace my water heater - I got the job done for $1,225 including a new table on which to stand the heater. The old table was rotted and fell to pieces when the old heater was removed.I strongly recommend getting additional quotes before accepting theirs.Review from Patricia C

Blantons sent a tech, *****, to my home for a maintenance check and flushing of my water heater. The receptionist would not give me a quote for the work before he came. She stated he would provide that after his inspection and evaluation. She also stated, for him to come it would be $109. After he arrived and before the inspection, I asked him how much the service would cost. He in response asked me if I was told how much it cost. I told him No. He then said it would cost $320 plus the $109. Frustrated, I called the company. They said they would waive the $109. By this time, I didnt want it done; however, since he was at my home, I had him look at a leaky faucet handle in my bathroom. Fiddling around with the handle, he discovered the cartridge in the handle needed to be replaced. I was suckered out of $398.13 to replace it. No waiver fee applied. Anyone thinking about using this company should really consider their options.Review from Sarah T

$1000 for 1.5 hours of work and $100 in parts. Thieves! Taking advantage of an old lady. He made it sound like it was going to take all day. AND they had to come back because they didn't even fix the problem! All he did was use a plunger and told that this is not guaranteed cause I needed all new pipes!Review from VW

On 9/18/2021, I contacted Blanton's for a service because my unit wasn't cooling. The service tech who originally worked on the unit was Casey Jones. On September 22nd, Casey informed me that the problem was that I needed a capacitor and stated the unit was also losing refrigerant. After performing a leak search Casey informed me that I needed to replace the coil in order to stop the refrigerant leaks. Casey originally provided an estimate for $3,696 which included an air scrubber that I did not need. When we complained about the astronomical cost, the tech lectured us about how Blanton's had to pay for employees healthcare plans and other benefits. We couldn't understand how a $700 part that is covered by warranty cost $2,100 to install. I agreed to replace the capacitor and the coil for approximately $2,493. I later scheduled a return visit to replace the coil on Friday September 24th. On the morning of the 24th I will woke up to a leak in my home office ceiling. My carpet was wet and my ceiling was damaged. I had to clean my carpet to avoid mold. As I stated on September 22nd, my ceiling had no damage prior to the tech visiting my home and the unit had been turned off and the service tech restarted the unit. I immediately called Blanton's and I requested a different service tech because I was not impressed with the work of the previous tech. A different tech visited on the 24th and installed the replacement coil. The final invoice stated that the system was operating properly at that time and within manufacturer specifications and that someone would contact me about repairing the water spots. I contacted your office again on September 30th because I had not heard anything back from Blanton's concerning the repair. I spoke with Tynisha who assured me that she would make contact with the service department about my repair. She stated she would call me back with a resolution. That never happened, therefore I contacted Blanton's again on 10/8. I spoke with Kathy (Customer Service Manager) who asked if the contractor had called to schedule the visit and I said no. Kathy informed me that she needed to talk with the service manager again and that she would contact me to provide resolution. On Saturday, October 9th at 8:05am, I received a phone call from Kathy with Blanton's requesting to send a tech to my home the same day to check the HVAC system again prior to making a decision. I inquired as to why this needed to happen again as a tech had already visited on the September 24th and had taken and provided pictures of the damage. I was told that she was doing what the service manager asked her to do. I informed Kathy that I needed an answer from Blanton's concerning the ceiling repair. I contacted Kathy again on October 9th and requested her email address to provide updated pictures as the ceiling damage is now more prominent because the ceiling has dried. I also informed Kathy that I expected an answer by Monday October 11th concerning my damages so that I could take the necessary steps at that time to get resolution. I have been a loyal customer to Blanton's for many years despite the fact that I have never been able to enjoy the warranty without having to pay extra money out of my pocket every time a tech visits. Blanton's are constantly trying to upsell services or items that the customer does not need or want. I feel that I am getting the runaround at this point. I did not hesitate to spend almost $2,500 to make my system operational again, despite the fact that the coil which was covered under warranty still cost me $2,100 to install. My ceiling was damaged already on September 24th, the day that I paid the remaining $1,246.03 for the coil replacement. I did not choose to hold the moneys until my ceiling repair was completed. I assumed that Blanton's would uphold its promise in good faith but I see now that I was wrong. Today marks the 17th day since the damage was reported and Blanton's has never contacted me about making the repairs. All contact with Blanton's has been initiated by me. If you don't call that the runaround then I don't know what else to call it. I actually expected better from Blanton's and I am highly disappointed. If you should ever encounter this company please ensure that all repairs are made prior to payment. Their word is good for nothing!! Oh yes and did I forget to mention that I actually purchased the unit and had it installed by these guys?Review from Amy T

Agreeing with all other negative reviews regarding the billing practices of the company. For $100 they will come out and provide a quote around $500+/hour of plumbing time. This company runs like a complete scam. They either find customers who agree to pay their outrageous pricing who do not know better or they make their $100 for driving out.Review from Chandrasekaran I

Worst company. They sent someone to estimate the work and I said I dent need it after the estimation and they charged 100 bucks for doing nothing. So please be careful before you are engaging this company or else you will be loosing 100 bucks for nothing.Review from Nick V.

Absolutely perfect... Needed a bathroom sink faucet replaced, called Blanton's Air, Plumbing and Electric. I requested next day, first morning appointment and Blanton's complied. The technician, Dustin B. arrived on time and prepared. Dustin took the time to listen to my specific instructions and his follow through was excellent. Dustin is very professional and caring. My new faucet is working perfectly. Thank you Dustin and Blanton's, ****
