      My 3 day hotel reservation started at the end of May 2022. Of course I wrote a review on **** and ****** because it was that bad.

      To make a long story short. I'm with my 5 years old daughter. We get to the room and it dirty upon arrival. I mean dust ***** gathered in corners, Both beds with black specks all over it, have my daughter took her shoes off and walked for 1 minute they were pitch black. Disgusted, I returned to the front desk to request another room documented by the front desk on a handwritten pad. We arrived to our second room same thing. My daughter was sleepy so I took it upon myself to wipe the floors down with the small amount of towels provided in the room. The very next morning I went to the front desk and complain at the rooms floor was dirty and do you have a housekeeper? The manager stated that they didn't have a housekeepers available at the moment. And then said I will be fine if you gave me towels in the cleaning products I can do it myself (Keep in mind I already paid through Expedia so I was stuck.)
      The manager gave me the towels and a pink solution in a bottle with the rags to use. Having several years working in the hotel industry I was attempting to be sensitive to what the manager was dealing with in regards to work force. I completely clean the entire floor and left with pitch black towels. And then attack the bathroom look like a trucker rinsed off and just left it, disgusting. Of course I thoroughly wiped the entire bathroom down as best I could for my baby girl. Have to leave in a family event late, we arrived to the hotel but I decided to go to the front desk. We waited at the front desk with the manager he was unable to locate our information. Inform the the manager that I need to take my daughter to bed and if there's anything I'll definitely take care of it in the morning no big deal. 20 mins later same manager came up banging on the door my daughters crying now. Then harasses by phone.

      Hi:
      I would like to apologize as I just received the letter regarding the customer review. If I would have received it prior, I would have loved to reply sooner. I remember this situation like it was yesterday and unfortunately the situation was not handled the way it states in the review. The guest did come down the next morning to let us know he felt like the floor was not as clean. Front desk asked the guest did they let the front desk know the night before upon check in so we could have offered the guest another room and the guest stated that he didn't. At this time, I offered the guest another room and he stated he didn't want another room and he would like to clean it himself. I stated to him we normally do not do that but I wouldn't mind as he didn't want to switch rooms. The guest stated to front desk that he would be staying over and he would come down to take care of payment but he did not. That evening, I did call the police as he continued to say he was coming down but wouldn't. He stated that due to his floor issues he thought the hotel was going to give him a free night and I kindly explained to him that I could not do that due to the fact that we fixed the issue and you did not want to move to another room. Guest was really rude and cursed myself and many employees out and was removed from the hotel as he did not want to make payment!

      I've submitted my truthful and honest complaint, everything else is smoking mirrors. Noticed how they're trying to discredit me like a freeloader, now I'm just trying to get a free room.

      Everyone has to protect their job, in this case by any means necessary it seems. I understand that creating this kind of narrative is the best way to protect yourself.
