Buyer Beware! This dealership has zero integrity. They boldly lied and misrepresented themselves and my vehicle. On March 14 of this year, I purchased a **** F-150 from Forest City Honda. I had shopped for a truck for over a year, and this one was just what I was looking for. So, I thought.I inquired about the mechanical status of the vehicle and was told that it was gone over with the fine toothed comb. I was assured there were no issues. I was shown a partial CarFax, and was told that a full report would be given to me during the paperwork process. I never received it.Within a week of purchase, airbag sensors began lighting up. I had noticed a vibration in the front, but was told by the salesman that it was due to the large tires on the truck. My first payment came due on April 28. Thats the day I had to put the truck in the shop for a new transmission. My second payment came due on March 28. Thats the day I had to put the truck back in the shop to replace all of the ball joints, wheel bearings, hub actuators, CV jointsbasically an entire front suspension rebuilt. So far, in the two and a half months Ive owned the truck, I am out over $5000, for repairs. My mechanic informed me that the dealership should never have sold this truck in the shape it was in. It is apparent that they did not do a thorough safety inspection, as required by North Carolina law, even though I was assured by the salesman that they had done so. A friend of mine, who is a retired, ASE certified mechanic told me the same thing. The issues with this truck would have been obvious, had there been a safety inspection. When I contacted the dealership to see what my options might be, they blamed me for the front end suspension damage. They told me that, since I had no warranty, there was nothing they would do.

They purchased a *** from my family and gave us a bill of sale. They instructed us to turn our tag in and cancel insurance. After 5 days they decided they wanted to back out. I went up there to discuss with them and was waiting quietly and they called police. They came and asked me to leave. Bunch of sales men were hollaring and laughing. I did leave without incident. However that was a dirty deal and the public need to know what kind of business this is. I am 70 years on and have never been treated live this.We also have lost moneys for tag and new registration. This not right. The show check ed *** and approved everything. They also test drive before paperwork was done.Thank you *****

Went in to forest city honda on 10//19/2022. I was texted on 10/18/2022 to come in for maybe a trade in at forest city honda, forest city nc. By ******* an sales agent. So we went there on 10/19/2022 at 4:30 pm. We had talked about an AWD 3 seating vehicle. So ******* had one, but it wasnt what we was looking for, it was an front wheel drive Honda Pilot 2020. So we said no.. so ******* talked to her supervisor and he/she came up with another Honda Pilot 2017, AWD ****** Plus miles, we waited and waited and waited. All together 4 hours. For bank approval, finally we was called back to the other lady that does the contract, we did sign the contract on the 2017 Honda Pilot.. then after that was given the carfax on this vehicle that said, it had been in 3 accidents one in 2019 and two in 2020, ****** plus miles and $902.00 monthly financed for 72 months.. the contract did-not tell this amount that we had signed.. only told the base pay of the Honda Pilot of $26,000 plus and financed went up to like $36,000 plus. with gap insurance and some other kinda insurance.. and ******* did tell us that we can keep this vehicle one year then bring it back and have it refinanced, our payments would go down to half of the $902.00 .. so we left came home, thought it over and changed our minds, next day, I texted ******* and said cancel our deal, we r not interested in this 2017 Honda Pilot.. she texted back and said, my sales supervisor will call you, 10 minutes later he called me, saying **** ****** we want our 2014 crv today, yall have done signed the contract, your vehicle is ours now, I said Sir, we do not wanna trade our 2014 crv for the 2017 Honda Pilot, he ask why? I said $902.00 is more than we can pay, and that vehicle has been in 3 accidents with damage and yall fixed it back, and it has ****** plus miles.. your contract did not say $64,900.. count it Sir $902.00 monthly at 72 months.. he says you need to bring our 2014 crv. And u will get a bill for the 2017 Pilot.mail
