              I purchased a NAPA oil filter part number **** and 1 gallon of Mobil 1 Oil to perform an oil change on my 2005 Honda Element in March 2021 from the NAPA store in Prince Frederick, MD. On May 4, 2021 I performed the oil change at my home in my driveway. I have been changing oil in my personal cars and trucks for nearly fifty years without any problems and consider myself at these tasks. When I completed the work, with filter secured as per directions and oil drain plug likewise tightly secured, filled with 4 1//2 quarts of oil, I started the car and backed off the ramps. Immediately oil spewed on the driveway. I immediately drove back onto the ramps and checked to see if the drain plug and filter were properly secured. The plug was and filter was as tightly secured as was possible, but obviously was not holding the oil under pressure. At this point I could not start the car again for fear of destroying the engine. I had the car towed to Art's Automotive. Unable to reach agreeme
