I was taken to Caromont Regional last night by ambulance for intractable abdominal pain, back pain, nausea, and faintness. I have been diagnosed with Chronic On Acute Pancreatitis, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and Cervical Cancer. The nurses were incredibly rude and unprofessional. A terribly rude nurse put an IV into my arm the wrong way and it was very painful. When the nurse came to give me some IV medication, I asked what it was, it was Reglan. I've taken that before and it had a bad effect on me. When I told them that and that the IV hurt they jerked the IV out and left. About 15 minutes later, I had to shout for someone because they did not give me a "call button", the rude "Charge Nurse" told me the doctor was on his way and he came in a second later to tell me that there was nothing wrong with me and I was being discharged. He Told me that I did not have Pancreatitis and I was making it up. He only did a blood test, nothing else. He was so very rude, condescending, and unprofessional. He was completely compassionless, and refused to give me his name. It was about 11pm, and cold outside, I asked if they had a way to get me home and he snidely told me to "take an uber". I didn't have any money to get an uber. Then a very large security guard came into my room while I was undressed and told me "If I did get dressed fast enough, he'd physically drag me out of the hospital and call the police. I never raised my voice or acted rudely in anyway to the staff. I was completely cooperative. This is hands down the worst hospital experience I've ever had, and I do have it on video.
