      We purchased Shutter Blinds paid $5,700.00 on February 11, 2023. We have no product nothing to show for it we have paper blinds ducked taped on our windows thinking it would be 8 weeks and we would have our beautiful Shutter Blinds up and we are completely embarrassed. We can't have friends over because it's just flat out embarrassing.

      My wife and I hired ******* to provide us blinds for our home in December. We paid over $2500 for this project and were told that it would take around 11 days for the blinds to come in and get them installed. Approximately a week after we paid **************** sent him a text to set up an installation date. He informed me that my blinds were on backorder to which I replied to let me know when they came off backorder so we could get them installed. After that conversation I would not hear from ******* for weeks/months at a time and it would take multiple texts/calls/voicemails to get a response from him. I asked for a refund over a month ago and ******* agreed to this but he has not provided me with anything. It still takes multiple attempts of communication to get a response and he continues to tell us that he will have a solution "soon". I deeply regret my decision to deal with this man and his company.

      ******* Blindsmith came to my home, made a quote for plantation blinds in 2 weeks, I paid him $1053 and it is obvious that I have been scammed. 6 weeks later, no blinds and no response.

      In October 2022, I contacted ******* of BlindSmith (via referral) to secure a quote for blinds in my home for $1367.29. ******* came to my home on 10/21/22, measured, and placed temporary blinds in my home. The blinds were quoted to be delivered in two weeks, and the full amount was paid via Angi. ******* also stated that once the order was placed, I would receive confirmation via email and it would include the tracking number. However, communication with ******* and BlindSmith stopped shortly after. I contacted BlindSmith via email and phone and received little to no communication. ******* offered several excuses for the inconvenience and stated that he would provide an update on the order the same day, and failed to do so. After several attempts, ******* and BlindSmith stopped all communication. I then escalated the claim with the BlindSmith on 11/27/22, and requested a response by 5pm on 11/30/22 from the BlindSmith on the status of the order or an immediate refund. I did not receive a response from the vendor and reached out to Angi as a part of next steps. I contacted Angi to disclose the nature of their verified contractor, and on 12/1/22, the BlindSmith responded stating that the order was secured and would be installed in 7-10 days. I again waited until 12/11/22, and after no communication with the BlindSmith, I reached out to Angi again for a resolution to no resolve. This business is committing fraud and owes me a full refund for services that were not rendered. I no longer desire to do business with ******* or the BlindSmith and would not recommend this business for services. It has been almost three months and there has been no communication.

      I was contacted by ******* at Blindsmith in regards to seeking some automated blind installation at my home via a request on Angi's list. He was very responsive and came to my home same day to show me the products, quote me, and secure my order. This was early August - around the 4th or 5th and he claimed it would take 4-6 weeks to receive my product and get it installed. I paid $2500 - Order ******* via the invoice I received. After 6 weeks with no contact, I started following up with ******* regularly via e-mail and text to get an update on my order. He responded once via email in mid--Sept to let me know he'd find out what was going on and then again via text in October after I expressed my disappointment in lack of communication. Several attempts were made in between and after with no response. In his text to me he let me know he'd call me the next day with an update - never happened. I have since requested to cancel my order with refund 3 times with no response. I filed a dispute with my bank today to try to get my money back. Unfortunately, he claimed his credit card machine was down and I ended up writing him a check that he cashed right away. I'm hoping to be able to get my money back via the dispute, since it appears he has no intention of responding to my attempted contacts.

      I paid a $430 deposit to ******* ****** Owner of Blindsmith Company, in June 2022 to install blinds. He stopped communicating with me on August 16, 2022. After several attempts to continue requesting an update on the installation, and a subsequent request for a refund, by text, phone, and email, he has yet to respond to me since August. Supporting documentation (with personally identifiable information) available upon request.

      I ordered shutters and blinds from this company on 11 Sep 2021 with an original install date of 10 to 12 weeks, so near the end of December of 2021. There have been several long periods of time with no contact; after leaving several emails, voice messages and texts. He sporadically would reach out to smooth things over referencing issues with distribution, manufacturing and delivery problems. At one point, after several attempts to get in contact with him I ran into him at the local ****'s. Seeing the abet and frustration, he scheduled an appointment to meet with me. He came to my house told me that there was gonna be a hard install date of date of 30 September 2022 (mind you, that is a full 12 months post the original order date). I am active duty military and I informed this individual that I would be deploying and that I needed my shutters installed before I left. With a 30 Sep install date that shouldn't of been a problem. It is now early Oct and other than one text saying that he did not know I had left the country and what's the time difference so that he could call me, I have not had any contact from him. What is important to know about this situation is that I took out a home improvement loan to pay for these shutters. So I have been making payments for over a year on a product I do not even have in my home yet! Also to be noted, at the meeting prior to my departure for deployment, he stated that he would refund me the entire year as a way to reconcile how late and long it took for the shutters to be installed. I have not received any refund and I still have no shutters/ blinds and he will not respond to any of my attempts to contact him.

      I purchased a home on August 12, 2022. The previous owners purchased it in 2021. A quote was issued to the previous owners on 09/12/2021 Quote 126216 with the payment made in full for a whole home to have motorized shades. Upon the purchase of the home in August 2022, we were told that the vendor was contacted and the blinds had been shipped and should be installed in the following weeks. After MANY phone calls, emails, and texts I keep receiving the response "I'll check on your order" or I receive no response at all, it has become frustrating. I know this has only recently become my problem with the purchase of the home, but it has taken now over a year for the shades across two homeowners to still have nothing. It was a selling point for the previous owners, but still, nothing to show for it. I would prefer to just have the funds returned so I can move forward with some window blinds/shades instead of the various blankets in the windows.

      Paid $1825.25 for two motorized shades for sunroom on 4-18-2022. Blinds promised in 4-6 weeks maximum. After numerous texts and emails was told by Richard that blinds would be shipped approx 7-5-22. Have not received any info since. Told him if I did not have the blinds or a refund in full by 8-12-22 I will pursue legal action. He said in a text that was "fair". Nothing since.

      Order Number: ****** Date of Transaction: 5/30/2022 Amount paid: $1,937.79 Services that were to be provided: Purchase, delivery and installment of 18 blinds in my residential home. Nature of the dispute: the services have not been rendered and the business owner has been negligent in not attempting to contact me or to finish delivery of the services. Initially the services were paid for on May 30th 2022 and I was supposed to receive a tracking number when the blinds were en route. I received no information by June 14th at which point I reached out to *******, my contact with Blindsmith, to find out when they would be delivered and was told that they were showing as "in production". Later he told me that the manufacturer had a defect in some of the equipment and was delayed across all orders but that they would all be shipped by July 5th On July 6th I reached out when the blinds had not been delivered and received no response. On July 9th, after calling multiple times between the 6th and the 9th I texted ******* and again received no response. On July 11th he texted me stating "Good morning. At dr app. I'll call you a little later if thats ok". I said that would be fine and followed up at 4pm that day but was never contacted. On July 12th in the morning I received a text stating he was back at the doctors and would call me later that day. A call was never received but he did reach out by text stating that there were health concerns happening with his family that were overwhelming him but acknowledging that he had failed at communicating and would send me an update as well as give me a discount. He asked for until that Friday July 15th to respond but did not and has not contacted me since they. I asked my brother to reach out to him and he has received the same treatment. At this point, I would just like a refund. Alternately, I would be fine with them finishing the job and giving me a large discount but do not trust any longer that the job will be completed.
