On Tuesday morning, April 23, 2024, T.A. Loving and Company and ************************ plugged several areas of my plumbing system in my home on ************************* when they switched my water line from the old water meter to the new one. When I talked to them, they admitted it but later recanted and said my pipes were likely too old and collapsed. My family and I have been without hot water, a washing machine, or drinkable tap water for nine days. The other suspicious event is that the amount of debris in the line seemed excessive and not what you would expect in a mishap. I am retired and had gout in my foot, so getting water from the grocery store was very difficult. My wife is a nurse and works night shifts. She hasn't been able to shower or wash her uniforms for a week. I informed ********************* of T.A. Loving and Company earlier at 919-580-xxxx of the incident, and he said it was his responsibility and no one should be without water for seven days. He said he would look after it right away. Several days later, I still had yet to hear from him. I complained to the City of ****, and they said any problem beyond the road was not their responsibility. However, after I threatened to call my lawyer and WRAL, *************************, a city inspector, agreed to talk to somebody and get back to me. I later learned that ******* at 919-653-xxxx was in charge of the work on my street. When I told her the washer machine wasnt working, she said the list was getting suspiciously long. The city then sent Buzy Bee plumbing to my home. On Wednesday 05/02, 2024, the ninth day, Busy Bee Plumbing flushed the lines and fixed the water heater and the line to the washer. All the issues were fixed, but not in any timely manner. The City of **** took up the responsibility but reluctantly. As for T.A.
