By far, the worst insurance company I have ever had. We had them provide insurance for our small nonprofit foundation for a whopping 5.5 months. We insured our headquarters, a 1950s two story house that had been a residence until we acquired the building. First, they scheduled an inspection and then missed the appointment. Then, when they finally decided to reschedule, they tried to say it was our fault that the inspection hadn't occurred. Okay. While it irritated me, I figured they just got it wrong. We'll move on. The inspector, a young lady who appeared to be a high school student based on her school uniform shirt, arrived thirty minutes early and started the inspection without us. The report came back that we needed to trim tree branches that were hanging over the house. They weren't. I sent pictures. They relented. The point of contention came over a ventilation space that allows the underside of the house to dry. This 70 year old house in ********* is built on cement piers, not a concrete slab. Atlantic Casualty insisted that I close these "holes" because "it could cause damage to the foundation". I sent pictures of the space covered with the decorative vent cover that is designed for that space. No, they replied. It has to be sealed. I finally called them to ask if they were imbeciles. They didn't care for that and, shortly after, they cancelled the policy for "non-compliance". They're right. I won't comply with a ridiculous demand to close up a hole that was intentionally placed there by the builders to allow ventilation and prevent the wooden floors from rotting. Do whatever you can to avoid this company.

This insurance is by far the worst! We had *************************, as an agent and was not able to do nothing for our business as we had been paying a ridiculous amount of insurance throughout the years. We had one claim which was never resolved and when I informed him how unprofessional this matter was and we would NOT RENEW he started to "try and follow up". This is the worst company to have as a company insurance! DO NOT TRUST THEM! Sincerely,Unpleased business owners

We have found nothing but delays and problems with this company.Our valuation report was done wrong. Used the wrong vehicle, wrong names, etc. Our pickup was taken out of state without permission from us The adjusters talk back to the customers on the phone The adjuster sent a waiver to the medical provider that would not cover all needed medical costs and then told us they paid 100%. The adjuster refused to provide us with an appropriate replacement vehicle due to costs. Stay away from them. The adjuster told us we had to accept the valuation report and only had 5 days to purchase a new vehicle and then the rental was no longer paid for.They need their license revoked. Terrible. This is the most dishonest insurance company out there!!! Run the other way! They charged me $8,000.00 for a year of Liability Insurance for my small roofing company. I never had to use the insurance during the year that my agent had me under their policy. After I switched insurance companies, they did and "audit" and are trying to charge me an extra $32,000.00. They are ignoring all the calls from my agent and have now turned me into collections. We are disputing the audit, as much of it is dishonest, and our company did not change. They refuse to communicate, and try to charge me 4 times extra over what a year of insurance was quoted at. Total fraud!

Was in a car accident May 5 2023 one of there clients hit me and its currently going on 3 months and no vehicle payment as of yet due to my vehicle lost I was u able to get to work job was not on bus line bills are stacking up and still no payment yes I have found employment now but this company ***** big time.

They refused to pay out for a routine modest auto claim (under $5000). They lied about not receiving emails. They contested uncontestable facts. This is obviously their business model. They should not be in business. Now I'm having to file a complaint with the Dept. of Insurance, and if that fails, take them to court. Shame on them, and shame on the ***** ******** Dept. of Insurance for allowing them to continue to operate.
