Twist Lounge greensboro is a local gay bar which i was a frequent customer to. i had been going there for almost a year on weekends with friends and was a very loyal customer. one night in i think November of 2021 while i was there with a group of friends which are/were regulars as well, we had been there about an hour and i had a tab open just like i had done every single previous time i had been there. about an hour into being there while playing pool with my friends i was pulled aside by the bartender and told i was no longer allowed to have a tab open and i would have to close my tab and pay cash. i was very confused and asked why. i was told i had a previous tab that did not go through. i then asked politely for a reciept and date of the transaction so i could pull up my bank statement. i was not provided any information at all and was told i would have to contact the owner Joe. so i closed out and left because i did not have cash. the next day i reached out to Joe the owner Via text asking about the tab. he then forwarded me a disputed form for the transaction. the form did not have any name on it it just showed a date, amount and last 4 digits of the card number. i told Joe that that was not my card number and i forwarded him my bank statement showing i was there on May 28th and my tab was $22 and not the $176 that was on this form. my tab for $22 had gone through. i told him there was some kind of mistake and that that tab was not mine and i had proof to back this up. he has since made no efforts to resolve this issue and he will not respond to any of my messages anymore regarding getting this resolved.
