My son was ordered to obtain an assessment due to an Alford plea w/the juvenile justice system. I spoke to Alease A**** for about 4 hours at which time she felt that therapy would only exacerbate our ordeal & that we didn't need the therapy. The next day, her supervisor said it wasn't up to her & we were forced to do therapy. During his assessment, he was interviewed alone w/an Amethyst employee that discussed topics of a sexual nature with a minor child despite Amethyst policy against doing so. They claimed that my child said he went to a site that had no log in, chose an image, & "knowingly sent it for the content." Amethyst stated that the Zoom meeting in which that was stated had been destroyed. The assessment was the only time they actually spoke w/my child. The therapy & community service was completed in July 2021 leaving approximately 5 months of supervision. However, approx. 1 week before his supervision was to be completed, we were called into the Alamance County, NC Department of Juvenile Justice office & was told that we were being violated unless we agreed to go back to therapy & was presented documents from Amethyst stating that we were told we had to go to "NC A&T university outpatient services" or go before a judge for noncompliance. The documents had no contact info for this place or names &/or signatures for staff involved. We refused as we had completed the requirements. The night before court it was discovered that "NC A&T university outpatient services" DOES NOT EXIST. The only services they provide are for ENROLLED COLLEGE STUDENTS. NOT minors in high school. Judge R. C******* DISMISSED the case. Former employees have also claimed Amethyst performs "unethical" actions when business is slow. Owner denied everything but has no evidence of contacts after July 2021. Nor do my phone records show them. Video of NC DPS JJ employee threatening us w/falsified records. ****************

We contacted you in an attempt to obtain resolution to this matter. You claimed that the inappropriate Zoom meeting that went against your company's policy in which Amethyst employees were not to discuss content of a sexual nature with minor children had been destroyed. This same Zoom meeting was what the "need for therapeutic services" was based upon. Which seems to match up with former Amethyst employee reviews that Amethyst management would advise staff to act unethically to increase revenue.
