I paid $4.5k for porcelain tile to be laid in my home. A month later I had tiles cracking. I reached out & sent pictures and after they got rude with my 78 year old grandmother for asking them to actually come out and look at the floors rather than pictures I was sending, they finally came out and we were told it was from the expansion and contraction of the floor due to summer heat. They told us to wait until October and they’d replace the cracked tiles. I’m the time since, I had 2 other professional flooring companies tell me the issue was from incorrect installation. When I told got you floored about this, I asked if they would have different installers redo the floor or give me a refund. They said the issue may be from the products they used (which shouldn’t make a difference) I told them I was willing to work with them as long as they promised my floors would be fixed. They said they’d get back to me. When they finally did, I was told that the people who could approve any decisions were on vacation. Then the man I was speaking with about most of the issues caught an attitude and told me he was done talking with me. I told him I understood it was frustrating but please have someone reach out to me. It’s been a week and I haven’t heard from anyone. I don’t know what else to do but I either want a refund or I want my floors replaced. I feel like they have totally ripped me off and just want other people to not have to deal with similar situations. Someone needs to be held accountable.
