      Freelance Movers damaged my furniture. They showed up with a 15 truck even though I had previously sent the owner photos of how much stuff I had to move . I ended up having to rent a 26 U-Haul Throughout the process, they were incredibly careless with my belongings, resulting in several pieces of furniture being damaged beyond repair and others being soiled beyond recognition. It's clear they have no respect for their customers' property.To make matters worse, it seemed like they intentionally prolonged the job to milk more money out of me. I gave one of the workers my keys and he ended up giving them to another mover who left within the first hour for an appointment . I did not give him my keys because he had told me he was leaving and I couldnt access my new place because he was gone for 3 hours with my keys( I did NOT give them to him because he had already told me he was leaving ) , purposely adding on more billable hours .Their lack of efficiency was infuriating, and it felt like they were dragging their feet every step of the way. I sent the owner pics of the furniture they soiled and damaged . I had provided couch covers for my sofas and they didnt even put them on and even said my couches were already dirty . He offered to have my sofas cleaned for free , fix my end table they broke but I never heard back from him . I would like to be compensated $235 to have my sofas cleaned due to his movers negligence. And $50 to repair my broken end table.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I will be escalating to the ** utilities and ***************** as well

      On Oct 25th 2022 I contacted and paid FreeLance Movers LLC $513 to move my furniture. They broke my TVs and refused to resolve the situation. He gave me a false insurance claim. I called to check on my claim that he said he filed. Hix Insurance on E Bessemer in Greensboro NC 27405 said that he doesn’t have any insurance with them. So I’m reaching out to BBB for further assistance

      On September 4, 2021 I hired Freelance Movers LLC to move my furniture from Greensboro, NC to Charlotte, NC. They moved me from my previous home at **** ******** ****** *********** ** to a storage unit located at *** ******** *** ***** ****** ** at ********* **** *******. I paid the 1200.00 to the owner Trent D**** in total through cashapp $FreelancemoversNC. Upon removing my furniture out my storage unit on 12/10/2021 I started sending Trent pictures telling him how disappointed I was on how my furniture looked when I went to get it out of storage. He called me later that day asking me if I remembered who his workers were that day and he apologized as well. He stated he would have to speak with his insurance company about this and see if it would be better to just pay out of pocket without filing through insurance. He stated insurance would pay a little under 500.00. We spoke on the phone shortly after this and we agreed on 650.00. As of today 02/10/2022 Trent D**** still hasn't paid me for any of the damages. I have been reaching out to him asking him would I receive payment. He would tell me that he was gonna pay me after filing his taxes and never did, he told me he would send me a partial payment, and even stated he was going to file it with his insurance on 02/08/2022. The majority of my furniture has been dented, scratched, and broken. I can't replace it because they don't make it anymore. I want Trent D**** to give me my full refund of 1200.00.
