We purchased a vehicle from Battleground *** in July of 2023, at our first oil change ( about a month and a half after purchase) we brought to their attention tha the vehicle was using a quart of oil a week at least sometimes 2, The vehicle was still under the dealership warranty and we had also purchased a very expensive 4 year extended warranty and the told us we could spend ************************************************************************************ trade it in. These *** models can have oil consumption problems but they still refused to do anything at all. I believe they knew the engine way going bad and did not want to put a new engine in it. They told we should have done our research and check car fax neither of which so any engine problems. They dumped this vehicle on us knowing full well what was going to happen. Friday March 22 I had to spend ******* dollars on a new engine and the dealership would do absolutely nothing to help. They knew exactly what they were doing because those vehicles are prone to that. I expected them to be honest with us when we were buying the vehicle but everything was a complete set up to get rid of the vehicle and now us. I am not willing to just sit back and take this abuse from *** or the dealership. I full intend to call and write to my State Representative and our Congressman and also the States Attorney General. I will keep moving up the ladder until I get some help with this discusting issue

Battleground Kia does not do anything to avoid the shady dealership stigma. After purchasing my vehicle in August 2023, I was told there would be a 6,000 mile warranty on any engine issues. I noticed a knocking sound under my hood a month later and took it to their mechanics to service. They informed me afterward that they heard no noise coming from under the hood. In January 2024, after 7,000 miles driven, the engine gave out. I then called them to tell them of the issue and that I reported it well before the warranty expired, just for their sales manager to tell me that they could not do anything because it was outside of warranty, AND THAT THEY HAD NO RECORD OF MY PREVIOUS SERVICE MENTIONING THE KNOCKING UNDER THE HOOD.

I called to discuss my Kia sorento. After no return phone calls, I asked to speak to the manager of service. Did not give a name, just know it was a male. He was very rude and while we were talking, he said have a good day and bye. He hung up on me to never write an email or their text messaging they love to send out regularly. I will never buy another car from there and hope to help others not have the same experience I had.

Battleground Kia website listed a “Manager Special” selling price for a 2024 Kia Sportage @ $31k with stock number 24117. We made appointment, viewed the vehicle and when we sat down they said the selling price was $36k. I showed the manager their website listing (I also had a screenshot) and he said that was for military. I said I was military but they still would not honor the published selling price from their site. They are scamming potential buyers with low pricing advertising of vehicles to get folks on the lots. Not cool- as consumers we are doing hours of research for the best pricing. We drove an hour to view this vehicle and were ready to buy, but didn’t. We would expect more from Kia since they have a good product.

Does not deliver as promised! They were in a rush to sell me a vehicle on a Saturday morning. I left there after 3 hours, after buying the vehicle they rushed me to buy. It was supposed to be delivered to me 20 miles away that afternoon. It’s now Monday morning at 10:30 and still haven’t received my vehicle. Sorry way to run a business. He told me when I called to complain, that he was doing it as a courtesy. That’s **! He knew I couldn’t drive 2 vehicles away from the lot! I’ll never advise anyone to go there alone and expect them to deliver on time. You better take someone with you! I wish I had read the reviews of this place before I stopped here. All the sales manager is an arrogant person and lets the salesman take the fall for it.

Absolutely the best car buying experience I’ve had at a car dealership for the last 25 years I’ve been driving. Drove over an hour and passed 3 other Kia dealership to included multiple other dealerships to get to Battleground. Courtesy, professional and absolutely meet our car and financial needs is what we received. Thank you Dave, Cliff and Eric! Myself, ****** and *** are very thankful for your service in getting us back in a safe and wonderful car. Glad to be part of the Battleground KIA family.

On February 2, 2022, I went to have my 2021 Kia Forte GT Line that I purchased on March 12, 2021 brand new, serviced as usual. While waiting on my service to be finished, a salesman asked me if I was interested in refinancing my car to lower my payment and interest. I said not if it makes what I have left to pay off my current loan amount go up. He assured me it wouldn’t so we started the process. Once we were told that we did get a better deal to refinance, we filled the paperwork with him. Then he sent us to finance to finish up. Once there, I was told to sign here here here and date there initial here here and here and then he took the paperwork before I could read it. I wasn’t told anything about my new loan with the new finance company or anything about what was done to my car or nothing. I was only told was about the slightly reduced payment.I assumed that everything was the same as it was when I bought my car the year before. It wasn’t until the day after that my husband, who was also there with me at the dealership the day it was serviced the day before, noticed that upon signing in to the new finance company’s app that everything was wrong. The new company had that my new loan was for $22,203 instead of what my current loan amount was before refinance, around $18,000. We went to read the paperwork they sent us home with to find that they overpriced the same items that I had on the original paperwork from March 2021. Instead of refinancing my car, what they did was took my car back into their name and sold it back to me as a pre-owned car at a much higher price then I originally paid the year before, $20,221. I have called them trying to speak with the GM or the owner and no one has bothered to call me back. It’s been 4 days. The finance manager called me back to tell me that there’s nothing he can do and that I’m stuck with it. I lost my extra warranty that I had when I bought it in March of 2021 which should have carried over.

First, I want to start out saying that I have brought a Kia from Battleground Kia before. In 2015, I purchased a 2016 Kia Sorento. I have loved both Kia’s that I have owned. With that said, I am disappointed in the service (or lack of) that I have received from Battleground Kia. I called and was interested in custom ordering a 2022 Telluride S model in everlasting silver or a 2022 Sorento in the S model same color. I talked to Kendra and she informed me that I would need an appointment. I did call back and spoke to Quay. She scheduled me for Tuesday 10-2-21. With our crazy schedules, something came up and I had to call and try to change it. I spoke to Kendra again and explained to her that I needed to change the appointment. I told her we were wanting to discuss ordering a “NEW” car. We made an appointment for Sunday, October 31st. When we got to the lot, Dashawn greeted us and told us all about the 2020 telluride that was on the lot. He let us test drive it as well. Then frustration sat in. When we went inside, we were told there was no one there to run numbers for a new car. I felt like we wasted our time. We told them we had a final number from another dealership, and we were wanting to compare the prices and see who we wanted to move forward with in ordering a new car. I gave Dashawn my info, told him what I wanted to look at ordering (Telluride and Sorento, model and Color). They told us they would call us the next day which would be Monday, November 1st. Monday came and I got to work and saw a voicemail. It was Kendra and she was wanting to know when I wanted to schedule a visit to discuss cars. I have got a few more calls from her about setting up a time to come in and look at cars. I was a little confused since I was just there the day before. 5:30 came and I got a call from Dashawn and he first did not remember my last name and then told me that a model I was interested in may be coming in about a month but not sure the color and would that be ok. I told him no that I wanted to run numbers on ordering a car in the color I wanted. He informed me that his manager would run some numbers and get back with me. It is now Wednesday, and I have heard nothing. I did reach out to a female manager on Tuesday and voiced my concerns on why I was not being treated as a priority. She told me she was sorry and that she would have another manager contact me soon. I have heard nothing. We talked to a Kia dealer ship in Raleigh and they got back to us with in a few hours. I will not be using Battleground Kia now or in the future.

Love my Kia soul but have had the worse experience I've ever had in all my years of purchasing a car and I'm 61. I went in to the dealership on July 5th and had a great sales experience I will say. Purchase the car I liked and all went well. 5 days latter I get a panic call from my sales person wail i was at work. He said that there pretty sure they put me in the wrong car "Really" I told him I have the car I test drove and purchase what did he mean wrong car. He then ask me what color my car was and I told him white he then hollered at some one that its a white car then said I'll have to call you back "Really" after all that and no explanation. I told him he need to call me back ASAP to explain what was going on. Four hours late no call so I called him back. He then ask me to take a picture of the vin number on my car that they needed is asap. He said something went wrong in my purchase and they are trying to figure it out. Again no call back so I texted him cause I was at work. He replied that they figured it out and it was there fault not mine "Really" as if I might have done something wrong. So I was asked to come bake in and fill all the paperwork out al over again. Yep wasted another hour plus of my time. Got that done then I find out My Insurance company has the wrong car insured. I had to call them and then they had to talk to Battleground Kia then redo all the paperwork. Then my registration came and it was the wrong car. I texted my sales person to let him know my registration was wrong and he said they were working on it. another few weeks go by and no new registration. But kept getting checks from Kia three of the same amount for difference in registration fees. So again I texted my sales person to find out were my registration was and what to do with these checks. He said he would have his GSM call me momentarily. Yep no call so I texted him again and he said that he had tried to call me NOPE I have an iPhone and no logged calls and i was answering all my call so I wouldn't miss that call. Finally he calls and addresses the check but not the registration I then said what about the registration and he knew nothing about it "Really" that was the main reason. So he said I should have already received it and he would call DMV and call me back. He did and said he was going down to pick it up. Keep in mined the tags were transferred for my old car. Next I get a call from Kia Monday 8/23/21 that my tag and registration was in and I said I'm not suppose to get a tag so she transferred me to there title department. Where I'm told because of there mistake I have to get a new tag WELL my tag is a special tag I payed for it's a I CARE tag that donate to animal funds. So at first she said she was not sure what she could do because my tag was all tied up with the wrong care. I then told her that I wanted my tag and it was nit far that i keep paying for there mistakes. She said she under stood and would see what she cold do. She was very nice. Then no call the next day and i had to call her and she said she was working on it to please giver her a few days. REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its now 8/24/21 and I purchased the car on 7/05/21. Oh and I paid a $749.00 Administration fee for what all these headaches Please I should be reimbursed. Good luck on that right.
