The ****************** at Bob Barbour ***** in **********, ** is very DISHONEST with customers. On May 1, 2024 at 1:16 pm, I took my 2017 ***** Accord to a scheduled appt for routine oil change, tire rotation, and car wash. Of note, this is not my primary vehicle; however, I keep maintenance on this Accord up to date as this car is used to transport my precious grandchildren. When I arrived at Bob Barbour, I drove my car in the service bay and ***** took my keys. There were NO lights on the dashboard. About an hour after leaving the car, I received a text stating several maintenance services totaling ($2,900) were needed on the car. I declined this maintenance via text. Around 5:00 pm, I contacted ***** to let him know I would will not be able to pick up the car until tomorrow morning due to a family emergency. During this conversation, he never mentioned lights across the dash board and the need to jump my car. On Thursday, May 2nd around 10:30 am, I picked up the ***** and noticed several lights across the dashboard were lit. I was told the lights were on when the car was brought in. I know this was a lie! There were no lights on when I drove the car in the service bay. ***************, service manager, attempted to assist and said he was told my ***** had to be jumped yesterday to get it out of the bay. I find this to be very strange. He further stated it was on camera and when I asked to see the camera footage, he could not produce it. *************** asked to take the car back so a mechanic to find out why the lights were are on. He drove the car out of the service bay and was gone for about 10 minutes before returning with my car. When he returned all the lights were out. I am wondering what did Bob Barbour mechanics do to my car. I am an elderly lady and definitely not a mechanic. But what I do know, I will never go Bob Barbour ***** again for service and nothing else. This ****************** should be investigated and shut down.
