Went for carwash on November 16, 2023. The attendant asked if I wanted the monthly service. I said NO. She said they would give me free car washes until the end of the month. I paid $27.82. I never went back.When I balance my account, I found they took out $48.12 for 5 months which was unauthorized. I called and they said they would only give me back $144.36. All I received was $44.36. They told me the bank was holding back $100. I called the bank. They did not hold anything back. I called the company back for a 3rd time and they said they did give me $144.36 and to call my bank again.Initial Complaint

Did a promotion they offered. Attendant said we didn't need to call and cancel. It's only for this month. It was $20. Charge my account almost $50 Last 6 months. I don't get paper bank statements. That's my next call. Tidal Wave will only refund 3 months after speaking to manager. I think they took advantage of me because I'm over 60. Me and my husbandInitial Complaint

I went to Tidal ************** to get a basic car wash. I got a basic Wash for about $12 & The attendant asked me if I wanted to sign up to get this exact wash for the rest of the month at this price. Thinking I was getting a deal, I said sure. This happened in July 2023. Since then I have been charged $30 every month. My husband went to the auto wash in August 2023 to cancel the membership & gave them all the information they said they needed and they claimed it was cancelled. Well it was not cancelled. I called the corporate office multiple times with no answer & I emailed them. Yesterday I was charged again. I called this morning and two representatives ***************** told me that without proof of cancelling in August they would only refund me the $30 that was drafted yesterday. I told them that as a customer I should not be punished for their employee not processing my cancelation request correctly the first time. They again refused to refund me more than a month even though they too could see the email where I requested to cancel. The manner in which I was signed up for the service was predatory. I was never explained that the charge would be more than the original $12 I paid and I was not aware that it would be a recurrent charge for months to come. I don't even live in the City that this location is and the closest one to me is 30 minutes away. I would like help getting back the money that was owed to me and I want other's to be aware this is happening.
