We purchased a new built home from this builder, EVERCOR CONTRACTING COMPANY in ********** ** on December 2022. Weve had nothing but issues in the house. We had all kinds of inspections done in that house, every single inspection came back with major issues. Plumbing, Roof, HVAC, lot grading of property, one water spigot the side of the house even though by code a house needs to have at least two water spigots. So many more problems inside and outside the property. We reached out to the builder, his response to us was that he passed inspection according to the ** during inspection. He basically told us that he wouldnt honor the one year warranty that we have stating that builder is responsible to fix any issues that occur in the home, inside and outside for the one year period. Hes saying that hes comparing is fraudulent, unethical. My advice is to not do business or purchase anything from EVE**R CONTRACTING COMPANY. If buying any property from this builder, have every possible inspections done on that property, itll save you lots of headaches and money. They are a novis company that are dishonest and unethical.Theyll want you to believe they build good homes. They build the cheapest homes decorated with decent appliances to look fancy.

      Good evening,

Evercor Contracting Company have received this complaint and we are sorry that the Client is upset with this matter, in the attached seven documents you will find all correspondence with the homeowner with dates, explanations and supporting documents provided that Evercor Contracting has done everything in their power to remedy and go above and beyond expectations to resolve all issues the clients expressed. A document is attached with a bulleted sequence of events that outline. This Property was sold on December 8th, 2022, Home inspection was waived by the client during the due diligence phase of the sale of the property which is the customary time to have the home inspected and allow the builder time to remedy any issues found as advised by the client's real estate agent before settlement and taking ownership of the property. On December 28th, 2022, we received a copy of the home inspection performed after closing on December 19th, 2022. Out of courtesy and ethics we responded immediately to the homeowner that we would evaluate and have items on the list taken care of that were necessary. On December 30th, 2022, licensed HVAC contractor evaluated their issues, and the report is attached above, also on 12/30 our roofing and siding contractor performed all repairs in home inspection report.  For the interior inspection items concerned we worked with the homeowner's schedule to send out repair contractor to remedy items inside the home, the client was unavailable the initial week we tried so we worked out the repairs to take place on 1/19/2023, the homeowner was satisfied and even had our repair contractor perform other task not on the inspection report which we did out of courtesy. Since 1/19/2023 we have had no further communication with the client as we were under the understanding all items were handled and they were completely satisfied with the accommodations made.

The only items rejected were the request for gutters to be installed on the home, as this is not a requirement and this model we have not done so, we also rejected the request to regrade the property edge perimeter as we have performed all necessary grading work to ensure the home foundation has positive water drainage away from the home in compliance with the city code inspection department. We cannot control acts of weather and heavy rainfall causing water to hold in outskirts of property in areas that grass is still establishing itself.

We were never sent a copy of the report from the client's attachments from Bath Worxs Plumbing, to be able to address the issues to disclosed as these issues were also not on their Licensed Home Inspectors Report to be addressed.

Please let us know if you have any issues viewing the 7 attachments.

      Sincerely,

      Evercor Contracting Company

I am rejecting this response because:

The purpose of my complaint is to report this builder and alert others to take precautions before dealing with Evercor Contracting Company.  I read their response and its full of lies.  The last response email we received from ********************* stating how the * O passed him inspection and out of curtesy hes responding to what he can, we stopped engaging with them and hired an attorney.  He cannot possibly think that were settling and happy with all the code violations and major issues were dealing with in this house.  Imagine that you work hard and put all you savings in a house that you have to work even harder for thirty years to pay off.  You moved in this brand new home and expected to enjoy but as soon you moved in and have nothing but issues to deal with in this house.  The property was built on a swamp, the least theycould have done was graded the ***************** so the buyers can enjoy their back yard.  The lawn is muddy and wet all the time, we cant even mowed the lawn without the mower getting stuck in the mud.  The HVA* line set is not thoroughly strapped down or wall chase is not properly insulated buffeting noise.  Every time we turn on the HVA* the humming and loud noise in the house make us all go crazy to the extent that were having migraines.  Tell me how ethical is that.  You sell somebody something there a problem with it, fix it.  Dont hide behind the *Os approval.  As far as the roof of the house no one touched it or looked at it.  No contractor from evercor came to our front door, except an inexperienced person (******, the builders uncle) they sent over as a punch guy who changed two doors strips, patched up one of the cabinets in the kitchen that was disconnected from the wall with a two different glue which makes the kitchen looks ridiculous, he patched up a big hole in the wall, and its so visible, and he fixed a door that couldnt open and closed properly because it was improperly installed.  He told me someone would come back to fix the windows and HVA*, we never heard from them.  Apparently this supposedly punch guy was asked to do us favors, what favors please?  This is supposed to be a good new home with no issues, right?  What can we possibly asked you to do for us?  Youre not fixing the issues that needs fixing but yet youre doing ** favors, really!

A complaint was filed against that *O with ** building code council.  Many complaints are filed for Evercor contracting company, with every possible complaint company you can think off.  And we are just getting started.  We have a contract that states for one year  builder to fix any issues inside or outside the new built home we purchased from.

      Sincerely,

      *****************************
