On Jan 31st I went in to get nails filled in and done. That same day 3 broken off and other had weird notches at the tips as well. Salon owner said it was not his problem that they aren't done right and will brake off and just come back every time one breaks off instead of fixing all of them! Acrylics got removed fully and while doing that my natural nail got cut in the middle and split by one of the workers. Also not all workers are licensed either! Was still told its not their problem while at this point not only the nails were braking they were bow causing me actual physical harm and refusing to do anything about it. This is not okay and not right what so ever! I want full refund of that service on the 31st. Nails being cut off and filed off instead of proper removal, pet photos the damage of cut nail in the middle can be seen as well as how severe the damage to other nails are!Initial Complaint

On 11/6/2021 I went to get my nails done at New York nail spa. I went in and told them that I wanted only a fill in to my acrylic nail set. When the technician, ****, was taking my old polish off, he started to manually peel away my fingernail from the acrylic so that he could say I needed a full set and charge me for more. I told him no that I did not need or want a new set that I only wanted a fill in. I protested as he did the service and tried to pull my hands away. He ripped off my real nail and caused me a lot of pain. He then refused to put a tip on my nails when he redid them so I was left with no nail tip. He then charged me to shape my nails which was only around my fingertip because they were so short. My $32 service was up charged to $52 to charge for services that I said I did not want. I was then promised by a manager that the situation would be fixed. However, they want me to pay again at a discounted rate. I was also offered $30 reimbursement but then I was later denied that.
