Built our home in 2022, we had to wait a month for black windows but other than that, the build went pretty smooth. My sales consultant was upfront about the fact that things will go wrong and that Sedgewick Homes will do their best to work through those things with us when they do. Anyone that thinks building a new home doesn't have it's *** and downs shouldn't build a home! Everyone I worked with from the sales consultant to the customer coordinator to the project manager, worked hard to make our home building process as good as it could be. ***** and **** came out and did awesome work at our 12 month warranty time. I would highly recommend!

It's been close to little over two years since having house built by Sedgwick homes. Had several issues during the house being built and verily any full resolution. One in particular was settling concerns within in less than two months. Was told rudely " that is settling and we must have never had a house built before" . This was our third house built ,so we are familiar with settling. The issue still arise and had worsen , every room dry wall is cracking and drywall nail popping out every where. When walking in house you can see it slopes . This not normal settling. Upon on first day when foundation was poured it was never formed properly and was uneven .how it past code by the County could be only one way $$$. The base block under crawl space is sitting right at edge of a three foot drop , no way that can be sturdy. The other block support in crawl space ,they had to come out after months of complaining , with a jack raised the house and then commenced to put a piece of wood wedge in place. Lol , I am sure that will last until the wood cracks, rots , etc. Not is that the only issue ,we had roof leaks , window leaks and most recently found they cut additional corner and did not add insulation over our attached garage. They took our dirt from land to add to the house garage slab prior to pouring and was told their saving us money but what it has cause is severe erosion and I will now have to pay for dump truck loads of dirt to rebuild up our ground properly. One last thing that caused severe erosion is they never put up erosion control fencing until constant complaining, once it was up the house was already built and then later it fell down but refused to repair .Again was told they would have to call someone out to repair and it would cost us from our building expenses. Last thing in our contract the driveway was included, at the end of the house built ,was told they didn't have the money and we had to cough up 10k to get a very uneven pourly formed driveway.Sedgewick Homes, LLC

This home closed in September 2020. We have not received any calls, emails or other correspondence from this customer regarding any outstanding warranty issues or concerns. We have called this customer who has a full mailbox and cannot accept voicemails. We also reached out via email and posted a log using the customer's online warranty portal. 1 starI'm going to start off telling you 2 things. I was sexually harassed and business and personal things were mixed with the foreman on my job. He ended up being fired and now another home builder has the joy of working with him. My electrical is Fu**** up beyond all reasonable ability of anyone to repair. It actually is something their electrician refuses to deal with because he says "he doesn't make mistakes". He refused to come out and fix my electric during the warranty period and regularly HALF MY HOUSE STOPS WORKING. I have not had a WASHER in 3 months. I could write a book on everything wrong with my house including the entire floor and constant gaslighting from the warranty people and emotional abuse. DO NOT BUILD A HOUSE WITH THIS COMPANY. We built our home in 2021 and it took about 6 months. This was with a 6 week delay on siding. It was frustrating that it took longer than normal, but if you put it into perspective when this was the height of supply chain issues and labor shortages, 6 months was not too bad. We did have to make a few compromises to keep our build time to a minimum, but comparative we had a really good experience. We have lived in our home for over a year now and still love it!! My sister started a new home construction in the same area with a different builder around the same time and they are still not complete... I would certainly recommend Sedgewick Homes and stress to any future customers to expect delays and some obstacles, these are everywhere with every builder. Great job Sedgewick!!!Sedgewick Homes, LLC
