Bos mechanic quoted me $130.00 including parts and ;labor to replace a wiper motor but charged me $273.16 after telling me the new part was $105.00 and the labor $25.00 and that it was a 30 minute job. It turned into 3-4 hrs, 2 of which included waiting on the part to be delivered and the mechanic to get back from lunch. The wipers still did not work correctly so i went back numerous timesand after a month they finally figured out they had the part on upside down. In fixing the issue they then damaged another part that has disabled my remote start and my seatbelt chimes. I pAID NTB another $207.00 to attempt to correct the issue who have now referred me to the Jeep dealership.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:The estimate for the wiper motor they installed upside down of course wouldnt work the linkage! Also they estimate, as you can see in the final bill was more than double which is called price gouging. Not once was I asked/told if I approved the price increase. They did break the other parts described in my original report, they pulled the wiring to my specialty headlights loose and was about to remove the headlights to diagnose the temperature sensor which isnt even close to the problem they caused until I demanded they not touch the professionally wire car show headlights and demanded they call the Jeep dealership. They are telling the truth they did attempt to diagnose the sensor issue THEY DID CAUSE for 5 hrs! I ask you, does that sound like they arent at fault ? What mechanic do you know that gives away, and I quote thats another $900 in labor I lost!. Again 5 hrs at $900 in labor? Price Gouging at it finest. I want at this point to be reimbursed the price increase on the wiper motor installment, I lost 5 days of work going back to Bos 6 times which took over a month to fix which totals:
$131.50 for the overcharge on the wiper motor
$500.00 in lost wages

FIRST OFF I ADMIT WE DID INSTALL THE LINKADE WRONG WHICH WHEN SHE CAME BACK WE CORRECTED, NOT SURE ABOUT THE ESTIMATED COST, BECAUSE MY SERVICE WRITER WAS OUT WITH PNEUMONIA,AND I WAS OUT WITH EMERENCY EYE SURGERY FOR A DETACTED RETINA, I HAD TO LEAVE ***** IN CHARGE BECAUSE I HAD NO CHOICE. ***** HAD NOT DONE THIS *** BEFORE, HE GAVE THE *** TO THE WRONG TECH AND GOT ALL MISSED UP ON PRICING. SHE CAME BACK COMPLAINING ABOUT THE ********************** PULLED UP THE TICKET AND WE HAD NOT CHARGED ANYTHING FOR LABOR, ***** CHARGED LIST PRICE FOR THE ***** MOTOR, SHE CAME BACK WITH *****S STILL NOT WORKING CORRECTLY AND WE CORRECTED IT , THE LINKAGE WAS THE PROBLEM, AT THIS TIME SHE SAID WE HAD MESSED UP HER HOOD LATCH WHEN WE HAD HER HOOD OFF, WE DID NOT HAVE HER HOOD OFF , WE SPEND A COUPLE HOURS TRYING CORRECT THE PROBLEM SHE WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT BUT WAS UNABLE TO SATISFY, WHAT WE WERE RUNNING INTO HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ***** MOTOR REPLACEMENT, BUT WE TRIED TO HELP HER OUT. SHE HAS COMPLAINED ABOUT WAITING FOR WORK TO GET DONE, OTHER THAN INSPECTIONS AND SOME OTHER SMALL ***S WE TRY TO TELL CUSTOMERS TO GET A RIDE, BECAUSE WE USUALLY HAVE OTHER ***S GOING ON AND WE WILL HAVE TO WORK IN, MY UNDERSTANDING ON THAT DAY WE DID HER *** SHE GOT UPSET BECAUSE THE MECHANIC WENT TO LUNCH. AS FAR AS HER WANTING ME TO PAY FOR HER GOING TO ANOTHER SHOP AND THEY DIDN'T FIX, CAN'T DO, AND HER SAYING SHE LOST WORK OVER TRYING TO GET FIXXED THAT TO ME IS HER OWN JUDGEMENT CALL, I THINK WHAT IS WANTING TO GET FIXXED IS A AFTERMARKET PIECE THAT *** BE HARD TO REPAIR OR EVEN FIND IMFORMATION TO REPAIR. WE HAVE TRIED REALLY HARD TO HELP *************** ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS ON OTHER MATTERS AND EVEN WORKED ON HER JEEP AFTER ALL THE BAD STUFF SHE SAYS WE HAVE DONE
