In December 2021, I paid 500 dollars down on a dishwasher. They had it on backorder at that time. The salesman (*****) told me it would probably be March before it came in. I continued to pay on it until it was paid off on February 4, 2022. The total amount was ******. Of course, the dishwasher still wasn't in. I called early March and was told that it would still be at least the first of April before I could get it. At this point, I made a decision. I didn't want the dishwasher anymore. There were other circumstances, which I did not divulge at the time, since it was none of the company's business.I called ***** back and told him I needed my money back. My oldest son had paid part of this money. He was very rude to me and said I should go ahead and wait and take the dishwasher. I said no, I wanted my money. He was angry and I could tell on the phone.I went to the store on March 18, 2022 and filled out paperwork. I was told at that time, it would take about a week and a half for me to get my money back. It is now April 7, 2022 and I still haven't seen a dime. I spoke to ***** again on Tuesday and he said the accounting department had been gone for a week!!! I wonder why? There was no holiday. At any rate, I paid them ****** and I have no money and no product. At this point I only want my money back in full because I do not want to deal with such rude people who will not try to understand that sometimes things happen and people need their money back. I had not taken possession of this product and I refuse to at this point. They are holding almost a thousand dollars of my money hostage. This isn't right. Please help.Business response

Good afternoon.
I have contacted Mrs. **** and we are taking care of her issue today for her. She is very appreciative and thanked me. After investigating the issue, I found that the salesperson had not returned the product on her invoice until just last week. Had it been returned when first requested we would have caught it much sooner and it would have been handled. I apologized for the inconvenience and she was very understanding.

We purchased the best set of washer and dryer from Bowmans Sunrise Appliances they carry I. Speed queen. Wanting a set. after only a week and a few days the dryer stopped working. I ask for them to pick the set up and to be refunded. The Manager said they had to send a repair man out. And they did . The repair man said it was a manufacture default. They werent nice at all and we really dont want to do Buisness with them. We would really appreciate your helpBusiness response

We have gone above and beyond for ***************. She received a washer and dryer from us 03/01/22.
She called in on the 16th and said that her dryer stopped heating and wanted to know when we could come out and pick them up and give her her money back.. I told her we had to have a chance to come out and look at it before we could do anything because we service everything we sell. If it was broken and would take too long to get the parts to fix it we would replace the dryer.We went out on the 18th it had a bad control board, she called on the 19th and wanted to know again when we were going to come and pick them up. I told her that we were not picking them up. All we really needed to do was fix the dryer, but I decided to go ahead and replace it to help her out, after telling her this she said she was still getting in touch with the BBB. We tried to deliver on March 23, 2022 but she called and said she would not be available. We now have her scheduled to deliver new dryer on March 26, 2022.

I am rejecting this response because:
I seen on reviews where other people had the same issues with the dryer and I bought this as a set. Close to ***** dollars. I would really appreciate Bowmans Sunrise Appliances picking the set up and giving us a refund. I dont think you should have to have repairs done after a week and a few days.

We are not repairing this unit we are replacing it for ************** . We spoke with ************** yesterday to confirm delivery for yesterday and she informed us she was not available for delivery and had us reschedule for Saturday March 26th to install the new dryer. These units have a 7 year warranty as well and she was reminded of this when we spoke with her.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
I would rather Bowmans Sunrise Appliances to pick up the washer and dryer because Our sales person to us that speed queen has had issues with the washers and dryers but they were pretty sure it has been resolved. But our washer is very loud and the dryer stopped working a week and a half after the purchase. Which makes us think the problems aint fixed. We both work and dont have a lot of time to wait for repair people and service calls. We put a lot of money in this set hoping that they would be what we need but its not looking good. I would think that a Buisness would stand behind what they are selling better than this. Especially since they know there has been issues.

We spoke with the sales person who said she did not say anything about problems with these units. Speed queen does not have any more issues with their product than any other brand. They are so confident in their machines they offer a 7 year parts and labor warranty when their competitors only offer one year. We delivered the new dryer to ************** this past Saturday March 26th . We are only required to fix the appliances as stated before but opted to replace the unit to help the customer out. If she has anymore issues with the appliances she needs to call Speed Queen to voice her displeasure. Sunrise Appliance has gone above and beyond to help her.
