Paid ***** for a driveway to be poured. Business said it would have the job completed within a week, it has been over a week. No response, the business did not a hold to their promises. Told them to come Saturday of which they confirmed, no show and had to pay another business to finish the job. They won't answer calls and have completed abandoned their promises.Customer response

Job not finished. I paid the concrete company to concrete my driveway, ******* Mendoza never returned to finish the job after I paid him. He left the frames and forms up which should have been taken down the day after the concrete was poured and its been a week! He has done other people this same way. If I had known how I unprofessional he was after seeing these reviews. I would have never hired him. He did me the same way he did the other people on here left a mess and didnt finish the job. He needs to be fined and pay people back all the hurt he has caused them. This is so wrong!! He wont return my calls or text messages! He lied and said he would come out and be here but he never shows. He gave me an excuse he is eating I cant talk, Im at the Dentist, my saw is broken its constant excuses. Mendoza Concrete aka Junior aka Santos Concrete are scammers. They are not licensed. He left my job an absolute mess and would not return. DOES ANYONE HAVE His ADDRESS? They scam, cheat, lie, and leave people hurt, especially the elderly. DO NOT LOSE YOUR MONEY. I am now left to finish their mess somehow. I am taking other actions to hold him accountable.Customer response

******* Mendoza, Mendoza Concrete. Do not use him!!!!!!!!!! His crew left two cement filled wheelbarrows in my yard and am having an impossible time getting them trashed. He later said he was out of town and some BS story, it has been months and the stupid things are still on my property. Awful experience and now I have trash the city will not help me with.Initial Complaint

Came into agreement with Roberto (Robert) Mendoza owner of Mendoza Concrete to perform concrete work to correct a curve in my driveway, and replace rocks with concrete on the lower level of my home (create a patio). Work was scheduled for Thursday, September 23, 2022. This was approx. 1 week prior to an Oct 1st outdoor event, when I would be using these spaces. According to Roberto work would be complete in one day. Roberto was not on site to supervise the work until later, and the driveway was not dug out and cemented as agreed. His crew left >3ft of work incomplete. We discussed this prior to his departure, after initially waving it off as okay...he later stated he would see what he can do to fix it. Before leaving, September 23rd, he stated he would return to seal the patio area in 48-72 hours (so, expected him Monday, Sept. 28th). Assumed he would correct driveway, at this time. After he didn't show I called & texted to get estimated timeline for correction and completion. He was unresponsive for more than a week. Roberto did not return calls, or texts, until the day before my event, only to say the work wouldn't be complete before Oct 1. Monday, Oct. 3 he text that he would finish the job that week. I continued to ask about the driveway. His communication was terrible (practically nonresponsive) throughout the week. Someone arrived Sat. Oct 8th to remove boards and seal the patio area. Roberto ignored both our calls. He later sent a text, that it (unfinished driveway) was only 3 ft. That 3ft will correct the curve, instead of leaving an awkard "v" shape. I requested Roberto correct or refund a portion of money paid for failure to performance work as agreed. He hasn't agreed to either. I admittedly, exercised poor judgment to select Roberto Mendoza/Mendoza Concrete to perform this work, and then paid in full prior to satisfactory completion of all work. I trusted him, instead of vetting him. He never answered calls, so we haven't spoken since Thurs, Sept. 23
