This company is farcical. I purchased a power recliner from Leon's Furniture in Scarborough, Ontario back in March of 2020. According to the tags on the chair, it was produced in Nov of 2019. 2 years later, and the chair is stuck in the reclined position and the switches aren't working any more. I've attempted to locate their customer service and after 2 full days of surfing the web and sending out numerous emails, I was given the toll number by their parent company Hooker. I left 2 messages last week and not a single response. The chair is in like-new condition and it would be a shame to throw it out. Why would this perfectly good chair end up in the landfill just because of probably something minor like a blown fuse? If customer service would respond, I could attempt to fix it myself with little effort. I contacted Leon's and of course they've washed their hands of it. They initially refused to even provide me with the manufacturer's name until I raised a stink. This day and age, I cannot believe the lack of customer service for a company this size.
