Purchased a vehicle from peters. The online price and the price the salesman told us was$38,999.00. Once we surging was said and done they added $3100 more on too the price for a "shop bill" Haven't even had the vehicle 45 days. (Just paid my first payment) now me vehicle has been in the shop 2 times now. I have only got to drive the vehicle for 2 weeks in total. Just feel like this is bad business and they need to honor their initial price and refund the $3100 extra that was put on the sales price.

After having the vehicle online for a little while we decided to install lift kit and put new wheels and tires on the truck.  We also replaced the battery and the front windshield due to a crack in it.  We price our vehicles very aggressive so when we do things in the shop, we have to price the vehicle accordingly.  Thanks for your understanding.

I bought a car from Peters Auto Mall on March 15th, 2022. Less than 24 hours after driving it, the check engine light comes on. They make me drive 30 minutes to their service department in High Point just so they could run the code and tell me to come back later. I take it back to them and they fix it under the warranty that came with the vehicle. On April 7th, the check engine light comes on again so I go to the Greensboro location that’s closest to me and I ask the manager there to take it up to High Point for me and he agrees to take it for me on Monday, April 11th. On Monday before I can take it to Peters Auto Mall, the car shuts down while I was driving it. Luckily I was only in a parking lot. I call Peters Auto Mall (PAM from here on out) to explain the situation and they agree to tow it to the High Point service center. This morning, April 12th, I called to check the status and I was told that they don’t know I don’t have an appointment. They won’t call back, or continue to hang up on both me and my mother so we go to the High Point location. They won’t say anything about the car and continue to pass us off to other people. Me and many others have had the same issues with this company, it’s hard to believe something suspicious isn’t going on.

November 2, 2021 2,500 for down payment, 16k for loan I was told I was receiving a car that was safe for me to drive out of the lot. They told me I was buying a car with some minor cosmetic damages and structural damage. Turns out the car has a cracked subframe, a bent suspension bolt, a damaged radiator, the wrong size tires and the car can't be properly aligned. I told them I wanted a refund for my down payment and to have the debt absolved. Peters Auto Mall offered to swap me out of the car I bought, but they were asking for another down payment or a co-signer for the car and to add the negative balance from my current car to whichever car they were going to put me in. I told them I wasn't going to give them another down payment or offer a co-signer and after a couple of phone calls, they told me that I wasn't getting anything that I was asking for, and that I was just a young boy that got into something I didn't know about. I told them I'd involve a lawyer and was told "Okay, I'll see you in court" on top of having an employee call me to tell me that I would not win if I sued because I was going up against a millionaire and I didn't even have money for another down payment.

The purchase price of the vehicle was $14,788.88.  The vehicle was valued at $15,350.00.  What the customer financed out the door including warranty and gap was $16,378.88.  I have attached the auto check which is the history of the vehicle that shows the vehicle having structural/frame damage in the past with the customers signature on it showing acknowledgement.  I also attached our internal service history report showing what we did to the vehicle before selling it which adds up to $3,519.  We do as much as we can to get the vehicles mechanically sound before selling with also keeping the value of the vehicle in consideration.  I know the customer works at another dealership but I would still be willing to take a look at radiator, tires, subframe and bolt to see what we could do in service. Thanks

I purchased a vehicle from Peter's Auto Mall in High Point, North Carolina on October 29, 2020 with my husband and son. On August 27, 2021 11 months after purchased the vehicle, ********* Toyota's Service department did a diagnostic analysis on the car because the Skid light came on and would not go off. The diagnosis is Rack and Pinion failure and Electronic Steering Motor failure. Prior to taking the car to the Toyota dealership, I had another local auto service, ******** Tires and Alignment take a look at the car and the mechanic not only came to the same diagnosis of Rack and Pinion, but asked if the car had been in an accident. I have been advised to not drive the car because it is unsafe to drive. It appears that this damage was done prior to me purchasing the car, and I was unaware that this issue existed otherwise I would not have purchased the vehicle. I immediately contacted Peter's Auto Mall personnel and alerted them of the diagnosis of the car.

Vehicle was purchased 11-19-2020.  The vehicle was N.C state inspected and mechanically inspected by our service department.  We found no issues with rack/pinion and in most cases it makes a loud noise when not working properly.  I agree with you in that you wouldn't purchase if you heard that noise or knew there was an issue and we would not want to sell the vehicle if we knew there was an issue.  Every vehicle is driven differently after purchasing.  I know you did not get the extended warranty when purchasing but please reach out to us so we can offer you the extended warranty for this issue and anything else that may come out in the future. Thanks
