Similar to the posting on 11/17/23, I have to warn you to STAY AWAY from Figma Investments and Development LLC, they are trouble! I wish that post happened before I started with them in April 2023. ************************* seems like a nice guy and always promises to make things right and that he is all about the favorable reviews, even promising to pay you $50 for them. Well here is my review ****, please add the $50 payment for this review to what you owe me from the Writ of Execution! The story.I hired Figma to re-do a deck for me. During the deconstruction of my original deck, KJ, ***** head *********/Project Manager damaged my vinyl siding. **** promised to fix it, but sent siding experts who only made the situation worse. I tried to *** after 4 months of waiting for **** to make it right, which lead to no response from him. Similarly I enlisted the Sheriff to locate him to serve papers twice, won the case due to him not showing up to court and had to file a Writ of Execution. I am still waiting for the Sheriff to collect property for the $2,000 in damage.My plea is for the sheriff to locate him and while I wait, I advise you to STAY AWAY from this company. **** lies and is impossible to locate by the sheriff! SCAM CITY written all over this company!I also question the role of ***********************, his LLC agent. LLC agents are supposed to handle legal matters. Why is she representing him and is she helping him to escape the sheriff? Again sounds like a scam!

Figma Investment's owner, *************************, cheated ** out of a $2,000.00 down payment we made for the construction of a very small deck outside *****************. He claimed he ordered the material we chose and that he went to the **************** to apply for the permit. Both turned out to be lies. According to the Town, no permit application was ever submitted. **** had dozens of excuses over almost 5 months why the material did not arrive, after he had given us several arrival dates. He made a number of personal excuses why he could not honor appointments. After almost 5 months, he told us that he had been sued by a customer and was ordered by the court not to start any new projects, surely another lie. He promised to return the down payment. That was the last we heard from him. We sued him in Small Claims Court, but he avoided the Sheriff and could not be served with the court summons the first time around. We had to pay the Sheriff again and they were finally able to serve him with the court papers. He did not show up and based on all the documentation we had was convicted in absence. After he did not pay what the judge ordered him to pay, we got a Writ of Execution, but the Sheriff could not find property to levy. We are out of $2,000 and this man is still out there doing business. STAY AWAY FROM THAT BUSINESS!!

We chose Figma for our project because of the great reviews, unfortunately our experience with **** and Figma was far less than great. Shortly after we cut the check, the original project manager, ****, stopped responding to my inquiries regarding the timeline. I called **** directly. **** was aware he had stopped responding to me and even admitted I was not the first customer to call him about the same issue. However, it took me calling him to get something done about it. **** told me he would be taking over the project and I don't need to worry about communicating w/**** anymore. This should have been our first red flag, but **** had our money and seemed like a nice guy. Unfortunately, nice doesn't get the job done. I had to follow up with several vendors myself just to get the materials delivered, the permits were never applied for, even though **** assured me they were. Once materials were delivered they sat in our driveway for 2 months along with a giant hideous yellow dumpster, and no movement on the project what so ever. We became the bud of all jokes in our neighborhood and we had our HOA breathing down our neck about the project because it was supposed to be started first week of July. I was in constant contact w/**** but nothing he ever promised came to fruition. **** finally sent someone out to dig out for the footers and lay rebar, something that I have since learned should not have been done without having permits. I imagine this was done because I was regularly texting and calling **** about getting the project started. It was a way of appeasing me, I'm sure. Not long after the hole was dug and **** had no permit to show, he called me and said he has to close up shop for at least the rest of 2021 due to medical issues and will be refunding us our money minus the materials. So, here we are 6 months after cutting **** a check, several lies and empty promises later, and we still do not have a front porch extension. We had to call on our friends and neighbors to help get materials moved so the dumpster company could come pick up the dumpster out of our driveway. **** was no help. This review is only a brief synopsis of what we had to deal with over the course of 6 months. This simple project turned into a NIGHTMARE due to bad management, empty promises, and several lies. Figma was a headache to deal with and a waste of our time and money. We were left with quite a mess to clean up ourselves.
