Purchased a 2022 wildwood in December of 2021. I also purchased every warranty they had to offer. I dropped the trailer off on Jun 25 2023 for warranty repair work for alot of issues. The counter top was warped, trim was falling off on nearly every wall, curtains broken, gas line leaking, stove top broken and a few more issues. They kept the camper for more than 2 weeks to call and tell me none of those were covered. Even under the extended warranty. It is clear that they sold me a false narrative and miss represented themselves by selling a complete 5 year warranty. While in the parking lot I met 2 other gentlemen that had the same complaint. The persons I spoke to kept referring me to sales as if it was a different entity. The other suggestion was to should call the warranty co.pany and they would more likely approve the work. "WHAT!?" CAMPING WORLD SOLD ME THE WARRANTY.This business is less than trustworthy at best.

My husband and I purchased an ** from Camping World on June 5th, 2023. We arranged for them to perform their inspection, and scheduled a walkthrough and pick up for June 11th, 2023. On June 11th, 2023, we were told by an employee that the ****************** looked everything over and everything passed inspection. We received our walk-through and left with the *** We parked the ** in our driveway (on a concrete slab), made sure it was leveled and secured (as you should). On Wednesday, June 21st, 2023, my husband and I opened the ** to start prepping it for the coming weekend, for our first test camping trip. Upon opening the door, we discovered 2 large puddles of water on the floor, and another puddle on the table bench (closest to the Master bed). Upon investigation, we discovered water leaking through 2 different spots - the Wi-Fi cover and the light between the sink and table. I immediately called Camping World, complaining, and wanting to return the *** I was told the General Manager would call in 5 minutes. He never called. After ***** minutes, I texted the sales guy (*******) and then received a call 10 minutes later from ****** in the ************* ****** refused to acknowledge why I'd be upset at a brand new camper already leaking and gaslit me saying "bad seals happen". They offered to fix it if we could bring it in the next day, first thing. Except we live over an hour away and both my husband and I work. When I explained that to ******, he repeated the offer without any other offer of a different timeframe). His offer wouldn't have given the ** a chance to completely dry out in the ** heat & humidity too. We placed/secured a tarp over the tarp over the ** to prevent more damage (storms were rolling through **), & to let it dry out. We know have to get our brand new ** fixed! I don't trust Camping World. I'm wondering if the ************ even did an inspection on anything?!CW is also hassling me to leave them a "good review"!

We immediately reached out to the customer and let them know we would have a technician on standby if they could just bring it in. Customer stated they would be here first thing in the morning and never arrived.

I am rejecting this response because: I explained to ****** at the ****************** that both my husband and I work and were unsure if we could make it or not the following morning, as Camping World is almost 1.5 hours away from us. I took the appointment on the off-chance that one of us were able to get the day off. However, my company was unable to approve my PTO and my husband's boss was unable to let him have the day off. As we both need our jobs to earn money and pay our bills, we were unable to drop everything, and drive nearly 1.5 hours to Camping World so they could fix their mistake.

Since this has occurred, my husband has been doing countless research on camping with an RV camper and looking at everything within our camper. When he went to inspect the Grey Tank Valve and use it in it's proper way, the plastic handles on the valve broke off! He did not use excessive force when turning the valve. It was clearly just a piece of cheap plastic.

We were told this camper was brand new, never used, made in 2022. We purchased it on 6/5/23 and have now dealt with a roof leak and now a broken grey tank valve. We will never purchase anything from Camping World again. We want to give them an "F" rating. We will also warn others to not purchase from them.

      Sincerely,

      *************************

March 8, 2022, I purchased a 2022, Freedom Elite RV. My trip out was March 23, 2022. First issue was the slide out would not extend. Called for help, and was told it was a electrical issue and to take it back to Camping World for repair. Took it back on March 28, 2022. Got the RV back around April, 7. Still had electrical issues. USB sockets not working, microwave not working, tv, not working, radio not working and the back up camera not working. Whomever that tried to repair it, sliced wires and they weren't properly fixed. Took it back again. They removed the dash, said it was wired incorrectly, needed to trace wiring to fix. They then started splicing wires. When I was told it was ready, I went to get it, and it still had the same issues. I left it there again. Picked it up May 12, and had to return it on the 18th. At this point, it now was leaking water in it and the USB still wasn't working. To this date, it's still there. I'm being told they can't find the leak. When the manager, Jeremy, looked from the roof, he said he could tell where it had leaked because it was"creased" in, yet they say it's no issue. I called today and was told they were waiting on the warranty dept to approve repairs. I had previously called their corporate office about three times to file a complaint and try to get this resolved. Finally, someone contacted me, said they'd check into it and call back. After a week, I called them back. Received a call today from corporate stating, they needed to replace a harness on the back up camera. But at the same time, was told it was ready. I asked her, Deanna, how is it ready, if it needs a harness and the leak isn't fixed. She said she was going to contact them and call me back. At this time, nothing is resolved. I now have a RV that has had wires spliced, rerouted, it leaks and they have it approximately 84 days compared to my 10 days. We've had cancel our vacation plans because we still don't have it, yet we are making payments.

On 7/22/2019 I purchased this particular camper from Gander Outdoors In Fayetteville. We were pressured to purchase a Good Sam Club warranty and the salesman specifically said that the slide outs are notorious for going bad and we really should have this extended warranty which the portion of the warranty we went with was $2500. December of 2020, my husband who is an Active duty Marine has been stationed in Japan all of this year (2021). Prior to leaving the country in December 2020, we were getting the camper ready to go be winterized at Camping World and noticed a small leak in the slide out. There was NO damage at the time from the leak since it was caught quickly. Nothing was molding or decayed, so we immediately took it to Camping World on December 4th 2020 to have the leak repaired along with the winterization performed. Come to find out there had been a Work Order (WO#XXXXX) which was done PRIOR to the purchase of the camper that had been approved by the manufacturer of the camper for the same part that had failed leaving my 3 year structural warranty unable to be used by me since they had already made a previous claim. I specifically asked Camping World for additional information on this repair that had been done and to see the work order and they refused to provide any additional information. I reached out numerous times to include e-mail correspondence between December 4th and March 16th concerned about my camper being left in the open parking lot uncovered with a known leak. On March 16th I was finally e-mailed an estimate stating that essentially the entire slide out needed to be replaced and the structural work was declined since it had already been a "duplicate" repair. I am filing this complaint due to the negligence of Camping Word and the face that my camper was damaged on their property and due to a repair made in an unworkmanlike manner. The day that I picked up the camper I was quoted $7500 for the repair and told they would not cover it because

7/11/2015 we purchased a camper from camping world Fayetteville, NC the sales person assured us that keystone campers were top of the line campers and we shouldn't expect any major issues with the unit and to get our payment down to where we needed them they worked the financing for a 20 year loan. Well they actually sold us a camper that is only good for about 6 years without major issues. Due to the poor workmanship involved in building this camper which all were hidden until on of the floors came loose on one of the slides. If that isn't deceptive selling just to move units I don't know what is along with an extended warranty that isn't worth the paper it's written on.
