1 starPLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KNOW THIS COMPANYS OWNER POCKETS YOUR MONEY AND HAS TERRIBLE BUSINESS TACTICS. THEY HAVE CAUSED MY COMPANY, MY FAMILY, AND MYSELF MASSIVE HARDSHIPS. They hired me to do several jobs for them and slowly over time built up a debt and when I put the brakes on anymore projects they swapped out the person in charge to someone out of state to distance themselves from the debt. They employed their bad business tactics that they use on their warranty customers on me and its caused so much strain on my life this year. Ive done more than they asked of me on every project. I feel ashamed to have been duped out of my hard earned money. Please do not fall for this companys tactics.Review fromBrandi C

1 starThis is the worst warranty company I have ever done business with. They absolutely DO NOT care about the livelihood of your business. All they care about is getting their payment. They will put you out of business with ridiculous requirements. They kick their heels and drag out repairs that should be resolved quickly. My truck broke down due to a radiator crack. Wanted to go to a large and well-known truck stop for repairs, so that I could be on the road quickly and get back to work. This company instructed me that I had to take it to one of their approved locations. I took it to a nearby Freightliner shop. They took 4-5 days to approve the repairs. I had to contact the company that I lease my truck through to get support, and thats the only reason why they approved it at that point. All in all, I have been down for two weeks. Thats lost revenue, costs for hotel and food, transportation, as well as repairs. I am still parked at this moment. The approved shop ran the required diagnostics. I cannot afford to pay the exorbitant amount that they require, which is a thousands more than the large shop I want to go to. They continue to refuse to allow release of the already-approved repairs, and are trying to box me in to where I have to pay the thousands more where I am instead of completing the remaining repairs at the cheaper location (which they would not have to contribute to). This company vindictively seeks to put companies out of business. They will not discuss, will not help. They refuse any compromise or any options that would keep a company on the road. Beware!Review fromStanimir N

1 starI believe TruNorth is running a scam. When I filed a claim for a necessary EGR replacement, they denied it, leaving me to foot the $5,800 bill for the repair. After the repair was completed and everything seemed fine, I soon encountered another issue with the **** which triggered error codes. Upon taking the truck to MHC Kenworth in *****, ******** provided a dubious excuse and attempted to gaslight me and MHC by blaming the *** issue on an improper repair. However, when I took the truck back to **********, they determined that the issue was not caused by an improper repair. Subsequently, they resubmitted the claim to ******** at TruNorth, who eventually approved it. As the repairs were nearing completion, ******** breached the approval by claiming that we had driven the truck too far, despite having already approved the work. This left me out of pocket by another $8,100. In total, between paying for the claims and the warranty, I am now out $21,000. I caution others not to fall victim to this warranty scam. In the past, I have had positive experiences with NTP Warranty and highly recommend them. My advice is to steer clear of TruNorth, as they could lead to financial ruin and offer zero integrity. Please exercise caution and consider alternative warranty providers.Review fromBranko L

Hello ***** - I hope you are well. I would like to point out that you did have a recently denied claim, however, before that you had two approved claims totaling $7,000. Based on the price of the warranty you have received your money in return, plus additional funds, that is great news. Take care.Review fromNathaniel S

1 starRip off Purchased warranty Aug 25 ,23 didn't get welcome call till September 8 they left message. I called back only to be told that I would get a return call. When I did I was driving to get my sick grandson . The girl doing to welcome touch briefly on things. And when I asked question she would state that it will all be in the email I would get after call (which didn't come) I called back and was told it would be sent. And it was not. So when on Saturday evening Sept 16th sensor light came on. Driver got to I ********* and shut down. I called Sunday morning to find out how to get claim started. Had to leave message. No call back. 7 am Sept 18th called ***** emailed me instructions and I asked for the warranty agreement again and she did send that over has well. So now estimate is sent over and trunorth will only pay for a def part of ****** minus ****** but nothing more of the bill because the ecm says that there was 2 sensor was on 1 for over 200 engine hours and 1 for 10 engine hours. They say even if a sensor light flashes and goes out. U stop and get it to shop. They don't know the trucking world. Sometimes far between place and qualify shops.Review fromJeffrey B

1 starThis company is a rip off. They will find any excuse, (and they have many), to not fulfill their obligations. My transmission threw a code, and I got it to the nearest dealer that could take me in. The result was the transmission had almost one million miles on it, and needed to be replaced. TruNorth refused the claim, said that a code was thrown 65 days earlier, but it never signaled an engine light on my instrument panel, leaving me unaware of a problem. The ***** dealer service department sent them a video of the play in the gearing, as well as a one page explanation of how 65 days wouldn't have made a difference, the outcome would have been the same, it's old, and has a large amount of play in the gearing. ***** also found my rear main seal leaking on the engine after removing the transmission, and TruNorth wouldn't cover that part either, even though it had nothing to do with the transmission issue. Their job isn't to fix hardworking peoples trucks, it's to take their money, give a false sense of peace of mind, and then stab them in the back when the truck breaks down. How they sleep at night I'll never know. Read the ****** reviews on them, it's quite astounding as to how they have so many negative reviews, as opposed to the paid for positive reviews. And I guess the rumors are true, that if you pay the bbb enough money, they'll give you an A+ rating, no matter how bad your company is. No wonder the bbb doesn't base ratings off of reviews.
